If you're not familiar with Quick Quads, it turns a 3-of-a-kind hand into a 4-of-a-kind winner! A sixth credit wagered funds the bonus without taking anything away from the standard pay table. After the draw, if your hand is a 3-of-a-kind, the two non-matching cards - ace (1) through 9 - are added together. If the sum of those two cards is equal to the rank of the 3-of-a-kind you were dealt, you are awarded the 4-of-a-kind pay. Only 3-of-a-kind 2s through 10s can be made 4-of-a-kind using the bonus feature.

I remember a few years ago I was at my local casino here in Las Vegas, but didn't have much money on me at the time. I was in a bad streak, which all video poker players go through I'm sure, and I was actually down to my last dollar. But giving up isn't in my nature...

I had to reduce down to playing 2 cents a hand. I know, why bother, right? Well, funny thing is I was playing bonus poker and got dealt four aces for 400 credits. So I took what little I had, something a bit over ten bucks, and moved over to a ten play machine.

I figured I'd play deuces wild, and even though I only could last a few hands with nickels at 50 units per spin, I suddenly felt lucky. And wouldn't you know it, I got dealt four deuces on all ten hands! I cashed out so fast I left sparks, and took my $500 hundred home with me. Needless to say, my wife and I had a nice dinner that night!
