I began a 12-day jaunt to Reno at the Peppermill this summer with a large bankroll because, well, that's a long stay when you play 8 hours a day 50c, $1 and $2 denoms and have developed a joy of playing multiline games over the years. As we all know, hitting a Royal is ALWAYS a surprise and one can never know how one will react. When this progressive hit, I grabbed the arm of my neighbor out of shock. This dealt RF kept me comfortably on the profit side of my bankroll. |

Another day, I was playing near the top end of my risk tolerance at $1 denom, 5-line NSU deuces.
This is my largest single hand jackpot in 20 years playing video poker! Including these 6 RFs, I averaged one Royal per day for the trip. Add in lots of dealt AAAAs on multiline games and I flew home with a tidy profit on this long visit. YAY! |
