I learned a long time ago that there is only two things that you can do with a problem - fix it or escalate it. I have been a 7 Star with Caesars/Harrah's for years, but I still need to get to Gary Selesner, the President of Caesars LV, on occasion, when I am met with resistance at the local level on an issue. If your request is reasonable, there is someone in every organization that has the authority to accommodate you.

ok,when you said more promises and lies who were you talking about? did I mention a Cathy? No I didnt thank you. Bottom line the point I was making is that the 3 day trip is ruined. Customer service isnt what it used to be. Some people cant be bought either. Vacations for some people are time sensative. No amount of free play or freebies would satisfy me in the same situation. Its over with and ruined. Just my opinion, they had their chance whether it was the worlds best host or not. nothing personal. Too many choices.

Whoa. guys....Cathy has been nice enough to contact me and I will give her a ring. The problem was, that at the time, there was not anyone there to fix the problem. I did attempt at check-in and then again an hour later, to take ANY room available room but was told there was not ANYTHING open for me. That was when I started getting really upset. No manager was available (I was told) and at that point we were really stuck. I am not a Diamond member at this time, due to the stupid knee problems I have had over the last year, and my playing time has been reduced, but there is a HISTORY of my play with St. Louis and when you aren't a Diamond or Seven Stars, you are pretty much on your own, as I found out. No host is available to you so you either kick up an unfortunate fuss, or shut it up and take it. I was eventually given the in room food credit and 2 free buffet breakfasts, but I don't think we should have been put in that position in the first place.Things happen, good and bad, and due to the discomfort I am having, I may have taken this more serious than I normally would have, but bad service is bad service. I appreciate all your comments. Video Poker members are the best. Thank You.

I lived in So. Cal for 40 years, and went to Vegas on a regular basis. After my mother moved there in the 90's, my brother and I were there almost every weekend. We probably have not missed a casino, but as a regular player, we ALWAYS stayed off the strip. We did the Dunes, Sands and The Sahara back in the day, and they were quite fun, but avoided most strip properties. Most people do not like downtown, but I will go to Main Street 100% of the time over anything like Bellagio, Caesar's, Paris, etc. From MY own personal experience, I had a much better experience at Main Street, and still enjoy one to this day. Rooms always comped, even if you called that day to come over (Sun.-Thursday mostly) and the food is very good. There are still some hosts that I remember, and surprisingly, they still remember me. Go where it works best for you, but Main St. seems to appreciate you as a player of any tier (which I don't think they have) as opposed to Harrah's, who define everything by your tier score. Maybe that is why Main St. is still going strong and a local favorite.

If I gave Cathy a ring, Id expect a helluva lot more from her than just a couple of buffets.
