smoking ban in AC may be delayed

So are they still limited to the "smoking only" kiosks or are they free to move about? I don't quite understand what they're trying to accomplish. Casinos here allow you to smoke in most places but not in the food service areas or gift shops and service desks.

EDC-At first AC was totally smoking friendly., then they passed a ban that said the casino could have 25% of the playing area for smoking 75% non-smoking. Then they passed a TOTAL ban-no smoking at all in the casino. Now they lifted the ban (due to the economy!?) and its back to 75/25.

Wouldn't it just make more sense to enclose 25% so as not to try and filter the air to the rest of the casino? I have noticed in a lot of the no smoking areas of LV, that residual smell of smoky casino is gone but they had to change carpets etc.

Yes it would make sense but it would cost a lot of money that they probably wont spend if the bans only going to be lifted for 1 year!

nice smoking lounges in harrahs ac,and i think they got free suction machines for the greenish,yellow phlegm in smokers lungs,so they don't spit it on sidewalks!

maybe they should start giving comps,if you don't smoke. Although I'd never do it, invariably, someone would cry discrimination or bias against smokers. You've seen what the ACLU has done and how petty some of the issues they've made mountains out of. Nice gesture nonetheless!
