It really doesnt matter who buys the Trop it will always be open, that is not saying much about the (2) sister casinos. Some along the boardwalk think they will possibly close operations this spring if AC/business doesnt get better. They took the greatest hit of all the casinos in AC between the economy, smoking ban and other reasons.
It really is a shame because I like the Hilton and have won much on the JP vp and the one set of multi-demo progressives.

The last ones I found were located on the main floor on the left side of the casino. Basically if you looking from the boardwalk onto the casino floor there is a back to back row of machines before the main section of poker machines. Now that was in June I will be down there in a few weeks. I know Trop has a bunch of multi denom machines with one section of progressive machines.
I know the Trop was changing out some of their machines in October, I hope they didnt mess with the VP.

Trump has finanacial problems every 3 years or so that is how he keeps in business. But with that said Pa casinos are killing much of AC's business. Pa just released their latest numbers (see Pittsburgh Post Gazette) and they are showing very good numbers even in this so called bad economy. I look at this as being big problems for AC beause the Meadows will be opening their new casino and there are 3 others planned for the eastern side of the state.
To Faygo I will be in AC for the holiday week spending all of my time at the Trop and some time in the Hilton. Trop is comping the crap out of my trip with free rooms and meals. I dont get it so many people are saying AC comps have declined, I havent seen that and I am in no way some high roller.

Bd131: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED YOU CAN GO TO THE PA. GAMING BOARD WEBSITE ( WWW.PGCB.STATE.PA.US) CLICK UNDER WEEKLY GAMING REVENUE AND SEE WHAT EACH PA. CASINO BRINGS IN EACH WEEK.
THE A.C. CASINOS ARE GIVING COMP ROOMS OUT PRETTY EASILY, ESPECIALLY DURING THE WEEK. THE CASINOS HAVE INCREASED THE AMOUNT OF PLAY ( OR COINS THRU ) THRU A MACHINE IN ORDER TO GET THAT FREE MEAL OR OTHER THINGS.

bd, likewise AC Hilton. RFB, and good $s going in. It appears that a lot of the trinkets have gone by the wayside and the $s put into real benefits.
