CD I hope you finally get a mention in a video. You certainly have trashed his methods and more or less called him a liar. Good job. See you in the movies.

With all the hard work I've done along these lines I do hope that someday I get the recognition that I deserve.   It's the dream that keeps me going.

He told me he does not play for straights, flushes, or straight flushes but for quads. So what is he testing for? Attention and to scam trainees.

I think he's trying to show that the "tampering" by casinos is being done to reduce the number of Straights, Flushes, and Full Houses.   Example, in the case of a Straight dropping a card that doesn't help you means that getting the same card value on the draw ain't going to help you either.

That would be a stupid way to mess with things, as pulling the same card value on the draw gets noticed.  Scorpio, tell your friend that the casinos would show a little more imagination than that, and wouldn't have a bias towards the same card value, as RS seems to be claiming.    I don't spend too much time each day worrying about how to spend my upcoming Nobel Prize money (), but I'd come up with something better than that.

You follow more blindly than anyone here. You offer no good reason to believe what you say you do. If it's merely about faith, you have chosen the wrong God. Your suspicions have led you away from clear facts. You wander like a duck. Waddling. Quack.

Well, that answers all the questions.

The more I think on it, the more I realize this is much ado about nothing.  The idea of RS having the patience, determination, and discipline to keep meticulous notes on 26K hands...hour after hour after hour...just doesn't fly.   Won't get me to believe it ever happened, no sireeee.  One hand used to play, one to take notes, and one for his beverage.  My own math tells me that leaves him two hands short of what's necessary to get the process to work.  To use an RS-ism, that settles the issue to my satisfaction.

If he had done it, just imagine if he'd been caught on someone's cell camera playing a coin at a time on nickel VP.  A pic like that would be posted every time he mentioned big winnings.

I think oej's right - this is just part of some new angle.  I'm sure we'll hear soon what it's about.

I sure hope the next contest starts soon.  The RS stuff settles down during contests, because his output of articles and e-letters drops dramatically then.  Why is that?  Doesn't leave us much to comment on.
