Yea I spot checked a few casinos on their that I know pretty well and the site isn't even close to being accurate.
spxChrome, how about letting vpFREE2 know about everything you saw that needs to be updated. That would help us all. I'd send you a private message but I'm not Gold.
I did

spxChrome, are you saying you submitted updates to vpFREE2 using the "Send Update" tab and they didn't get done? If so, click on "Contact Us" and let the site owner know. Maybe there is a monitor not doing their job. Or are you saying that the casino reviews you posted to vpFREE2 recently included updates that didn't get done? I read your reviews and found that more information is needed for them to make changes. For example, to add a new game, at a minimum you must provide the denominations and identify the exact game. You obviously have a lot of good information about video poker inventories. I'd love to work with you to make updates to vpFREE2. It would probably be better to use private email, but I'm not willing to post my address here since it's open to the public.

Actually I don't have your email address, but I probably should since you posted a casino review for a casino I monitor. I contacted the vpFREE2 site owner about this, so expect a private email either from me or him in the next couple of days.

Back to Biloxi. We stay at the Beau Rivage 2-3 times a year. Very classy hotel and a great casino with lousy VP pay tables. They put some $1 9/6 Jacks in a couple of years ago, right in front of the little restaurant in the rear right side. They didn't last very long. This place is for recreational players only. They'll give you free rooms, food, drinks, even fly you there for free, but you pay for it with the poor payouts. They have an 8/5 Jacks progressive at the bar and a 8/5 DDB progressive in front of the poker room that gets pretty high once in a while. The best VP odds we've seen in Biloxi is at the Isle of Capri. Much better than the Beau, but still nothing to write home about. If your goal is to make money at Video Poker, better stay in Vegas.

FloridaPhil,I agree that the pay tables are bad at Beau Rivage. However, for those of us who live in Austin Texas the free flights, hotel and food is a great temptation. I took one of their trips this past April and hit on the Super Times pay several times and on the triple play machines. I did fairly well - well enough that I am taking another free trip very soon. This time I was also given a $500 coupon to spend in their shops. Of course I have to pay the taxes on whatever I buy but you know, Christmas presents for family and friends.Anyway, I love your routine of driving across the country seeing family and friends and hitting the various casinos along the way. Sounds like fun to me.Always stay smart and play lucky.

Hard to find a nicer Hotel and staff in the Country than the Beau Rivage. We appreciate the hotel and what they go through to get us to play there. We usually try for the .25 progressives. There are no bad pay tables, if you win. A new casino hotel we just found is the Hollywood in Bay St. Louis. It's about 1/2 way to New Orleans and is very nice. Not up to the Beau standards, but worth a visit.

Phil, if you are a non-smoker, take a look at The Palace the next time that you breeze through Biloxi. It is newly remodeled and smoke free. A little thin on multi-line VP, but a lot of single line VP, with better pay tables than The Beau.

Billyjoe,Thanks for the info about the Palace. I'm taking a non-smoking friend with me to Beau Rivage on my next trip. I didn't realize there were good pay tables at the Palace but I was planning on going there with her so we'd both have a break from the smoke (I'm a smoker but can appreciate the value of a non-smoking casino). Good to know the pay tables are better than the Beau's. I like single line VP just as much as multi-line so it should be fun.
