Olds, if it is not too big of an inconvenience to get there I hope you get a chance to go back to Lake Tahoe. It is a beautiful place to visit regardless of which time of year you decide to go.

The video poker is the best CET has anywhere. They have a wide variety of games at both properties. When we were last there a couple of months ago they had full pay JOB at the $1 level and BP at the quarter level. Its a great place to play VP and enjoy a brief visit to heaven on earth.

Thanks for the info. Definitely plan to go back probably on the next visit to see my sister. Scenery on the drive up the mountains was great too. I always enjoyed dealing with Harrah's. Back in the 70's- early 90's we would travel to Harrah's Marina in A/C. Never had a bad visit there either. Right now though, I have to stay close to home. Still have my very elderly folks and am so lucky in that regard.

On VPfree2, they just listed Harrahs Lake Tahoe as having 50-play 9/6 JOB for quarters. I saw a similar machine in the Harveys high limit room as well a few weeks ago.

Great way to rack up points!!

So that would be $62.50 a spin? That would be the perfect machine to get my first drawn royal on as well. Thanks Joechgo. Will make sure and look for these machines on our next trip.

I played only 20 lines at $25/spin.   The best part is that royals are just under the W2g level.

Wife wanted to see Sarah McLachlan. Average gambling trip. Leaving for Tahoe two weeks from today for four day trip and to see Journey in concert. Also going back end of August to see Eagles in concert.

All the good machines you mentioned were still there. I pretty much low rolled the last trip. Met up with friend of my wife's that would have pretty much been terrified to play $15 at a time even if the odds were better. On our next trip I will definitely be hitting the full play JOB triple play machines in the high limits section. Let me know if you will be in Tahoe either of these times.

I actually got a corporate offer - two free nights plus two tickets to Sammy Hagar.Do you know if this can be exchanged for other concerts such as Eagles/Bruno Mars/Lady Gaga?  Or are they pretty strict on the offer being for the one in the mailing?

I think at your level of play you should be able to. The only problem might be availability. We did not decide on the Eagles right away so because of that we are currently on a waiting list for tickets. Our host seems confident we will get tickets. We currently have the rooms reserved but are awaiting confirmation of Eagle tickets before we lock in airfare. I would call my host and tell him/her what you want to do.

BTW when we were in Tahoe it was busier than usual for the end of June. I may have to get up early in the morning to get on those $1 triple play JOB 9/6 machines.

If you are talking about the $1 triple play / five play 9/6 JOB machine, there are a lot of them.  Two in the high limit room, plus another 8 or so on the main floor.
