Harrah's Cherokee Valley River
We live 15 minutes from Harrah's Cherokee Valley River and have played there often for the past 5 years. In Dec. 2025 they consolidated the VP to one area, removed a good number of machines, and reduced the odds to abysmal. They have made it clear by the changes that they don't want VP players. The pay tables are the same for .25 or $5. They no longer have any VP in the high limit area, and the odds are generally sub 95%. across the board. The one exception to this is to play 3 or 5 hands on standard games, which yields around a 95.7%. Ultimate X 3 hands DDB pays 97.227%. The Ultimate X is by far the most popular for anyone with any VP knowledge. Lastly, many of the promotions now exclude VP play to qualify. The entire casino is non-smoking inside. Food options are OK. Spa is planned for 2026.

Great on the non smoking. Terrible on the VP situation. It’s happening all over. I don’t get it. We all or most all of us leave plenty of money at the casino playing VP in the long run.
