The best version is 9/6 but it's hard to find in most casinos. I've have seen it at South Point here in Vegas. Since it's strategy is very close to JOB it's a reasonable game to play if you already know JOB.

I've played a similar version of DDA&F but it was called DDjackpot where the kickers were JQK, not 234. This was early last year at Terrible's on Flamingo rd. Not sure if those machines are still there because my last trip out in Dec., I went to Southpoint and GVR.
   Also the paytable on DDJ has 4 2-10  250, 4 JQK  400, 4 JQK w/JQKA 800 4 A's  800, 4 A's  w/ JQK 1600

Shadow,
You mention South Point Casino a lot.  Isn't that the casino  you see on the right side of the I15 when you approach Vegas from Cally?  I have heard many people talking about it. Is this place a must visit?  You also mention that you do not like to drive too far to play.  Is there a short cut there from Henderson?
Thanks

clwn2: Southpoint is the first big one on the right that used to be south coast until they sold it to M. Gaughan. I won't say it's a must visit but I'll be quick to recommend it because of the size of the casino, lots of machines and mucho VP! Lots of them are MG/MD so you can play $5 next to somebody playing nickels like me Nice buffet and I hear the rooms are nice too. 2nd thought, maybe is a must visit
Shortcut to where from Henderson? Southpoint? 215 to 15 south and take the dedicated offramp unless you're Shadow, then maybe St. Rose pkwy. He'd know many shortcuts!

If I remember right DDJ was originally made by another manufacturer (not IGT). Of course, IGT might have there own version now. The big difference is DDAF pays 2000 for aces/kicker just like DDB.

I do drive around a bit, but South Point is the 2nd closest casino to my place. It is the one right on I15. I wouldn't call it a "must". Depends on what you like. They have reasonable VP and their bounceback is good for locals. I've heard the comps aren't too tough to get for non-locals.

A short cut from Henderson depends on where in Henderson. It's a big city. Since I'm on the west side I head down to Silverado Ranch and Eastern which is then a straight shot to SP.

It looked like an IGT faceplate but I could be wrong. It was late and I was tired. I thought working 3rd shift gave you a slight edge. Not on vacation!  Over near the Target?
