Re: Winning Play Strategy/System
This is very similar to the Martingale Clone system I developed and have been using off and on, but mostly on. The reason it did not work last year is because I was too dumb to cash out the tickets. That is one thing that is a must, anytime that you are ahead by $10. Cash out your tickets and start over. As to the bankroll, plan on at least having enough to play 3-sessions. It is rare that you will lose your entire bankroll. It has only happened to me one time, fortunately. I was far enough ahead for the year that I could just dip into my winning and still end up having a good winning season. This type of play is not for the faint of heart, make sure you have the bankroll to play with. Test yourself out at the lower levels first. Also remember you are constantly putting tickets in your pocket as you play and they are not only just $10. wins.... Don't get greedy, don't play above your head and stick to the system.

What do you mean by 50 credits etc.? If we are talking tier credits like we accumulate at CET in takes $10 coin it to get one tier credit. That being the case to get 50 credit I would need about 400 spins on a single line quarter machine. Is that what we are talking about? And when I move up to fifty cents to get 50 credits I would only 200 spins. Etc., etc. Am I making the correct assumptions? If your playing quarters 100 credits = $25. 200 credits = $50. dollars 100 credits = $100. etc. etc.Is that what you are asking?

There is no such thing as a long term winning strategy for a negative expectation game. On the other hand, if you manage your money well, have plenty of discipline and some luck you can come close to breaking even. I have just completed two consecutive winning years using the Cheap Strategy. This doesn't mean I expect to win forever. It means I have managed my money well and had some lucky things happen during that period of time. The problem with casino gambling is that the casinos are experts in getting us to overplay our bankrolls which causes players to build up loses they can never recover from. For example if you are down $50K, think what you must do to get back even... If you are only down $1,000, one good lucky hit will bring you back. The problem is not how much you win, it's how much you lose between wins.

I am going to practice your system on the computer and I want to make sure I do the progression form quarter up to $5 correctly. So going back to your example of progressing from quarter up to $5 per play.
50 credits BP quarter 10 hands $12.50
50 credits DDB quarter 10 hands 12.50
50 credits BP fifty cents 10 hands 25.00
100 credits DDB fifty cents 20 hands 50.00
100 credits BP dollar 20 hands 100.00
100 credits DDB dollar 20 hands 100.00
100 credits BP $2 20 hands 200.00
200 credits DDB $2 40 hands 400.00
100 credits BP $5 20 hands 500.00
300 credits DDB $5 60 hands 1500.00
If I am understanding your strategy correctly as you go through the progression you stick a hundred in the machine for instance and you pocket any ticket when it gets to $110 or more and start over at the bottom of the progression.
Worse case scenario you go through the entire progression of 230 hands and lose $2900. And if you reach a total win of $500 or more then you quit. Am I missing anything or misunderstanding anything?

As an example of my play. I play only single line VP, I play at 5 levels from $.25 up thru $5. You can adjust this down to say .05c up thru $2. there by using a smaller bankroll. I only play muliti-denominational games ie Bonus Poker and Double Double Bonus Poker. There are other muliti games that you can choose other the these. Say Aces Bonus Poker paying 10 credits for two pair as well as either Double Double Bonus Poker, Triple Bonus Poker Plus or Super Aces.To make this easier to understand I will stick with BP and DDBP.Starting at $.25 I play 50 credits of BP if at anytime I'm ahead by $10. I cash out and stick the ticket in my pocket and start over, If I lose I then move up to DDBP and play 50 credits... On $.50 it's 50 credits on BP and 100 credits on DDBP; On $1 it's 100 credits on BP and 100 credits on DDBP: On $2 its 100 credits on BP and 200 credits on DDBP; On $5 it's 100 credits on BP and 300 credits on DDBP.  As you can see you're progressing not only in denomination, but in credit volume and game volatility as well while you're shooting for just a $10. WIN!.. Anytime that you are ahead $10. in your progression you cash out and start all over, keeping in mind that in this sort of progression the big one will come. You need to set a win goal at this level of play, say $500.Don't be greedy! Live to play another day. More often then not with good discipline, you will hit the big one sending you home with the casino's money.e using.
I am trying to understand this, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
In order to get to the $5 level of your progression, that means you would not have had a $10 winning ticket at any time from 25c-$2 of your progression?

I believe that is correct. I'm not saying to try this, and like he said it is not for the faint of heart. My Martingale Clone is almost identical. This is the reason I lost using it last year.
My bankroll budget was 1200- not enough playing quarters and up.
There were a couple of horrible dud sessions where I would have lost the entire 3k if that was my budget.
I never cashed out my tickets and my goal was a win of 1k for the day. Too much.
I would say about 60 percent of my sessions had wins using this method of between 300 and 900. When those levels are reached, the rubber band tends to not stretch anymore and suck up everything in a few minutes as it is collapsing.
I plan on strictly follow it this year following all of the rules, but starting with nickels. My quit point for the day will be just a hundred bucks. Don't forget however, that once in awhile something huge will come in too. Boy, how I wish this site or others allowed practice on this type of play. None do that I know of.

I did one 230 hand session going through the entire progression assuming I am understanding his system correctly. I never reached a point where I was up $10 and could start at the bottom of the progression again. My total loss at the end of the 230 hand progression was $445. It would have been worse but I did hit one full house during the $5 DDB part of the progression.
It was interesting as during normal play I do enjoy switching back and forth between games. And I did draw 3oak on several occasions but was unable to convert. Overall zero 4oak's during the progression which is not surprising since you are only supposed to get one every 400+ hands or so.

Am I missing anything or misunderstanding anything?Let me see if I can clarify just a couple of things for you.You have the amount of credits and the dollar amount correct. But the number of hands is where the problem is.Starting at : 50 credits BP quarter $12.50 The number of hands played at each level is unknow... You keep playing until all 50 credits ($12.50) are gone, cashing out any wins that are at least $10 or more over.. once you lose the 50 credits you move up to the next level DDB and continue to play but you must now make up the 50 credits that you lost plus at least $10. At that point you go back and start over or if you lose move up to the naxt level and continue your play.. Just remember what your cash out amount is at each level.Hope that helps.Try it out and let me know how it works for you

I do it all the time as I try out different scenarios

I am trying to understand this, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
In order to get to the $5 level of your progression, that means you would not have had a $10 winning ticket at any time from 25c-$2 of your progression?
That is correct, but unlikely that you will lose thru out the entire progression. That's why there is at least 5 levels of play... I'm assuming that you are a near perfect player, at least 95% of the time. There are some special plays that I use at times, but rather then confuse anyone it's better to learn the system and practice it first.
