Dealt Royal??? What the heck is that. I haven't even had one of those while playing the games on this website, let alone in real life.
Play long enough and it will probably happen. I hope it happens to you in an actual casino and not here. And hopefully for higher stakes than mine...

I have only had one in my lifetime a thousand years ago on quarters. The machine held the cards automatically I didn't have to do anything. Because Royal flush is the best hand you can get on video poker machine it automatically holds it for you. Pretty awesome has been forever since I got a royal flush either way. Last weekend when I went 5 times it dealt me 4 for the royal and all 5 times it snubbed me. That's not fair lol. But it does happen

It's hard to believe how many times we say this in a days play. Being dealt 4 to a royal is a pretty common occurrence, hitting one not so much...

Had two dealt Royals. One on a single play and one on a triple play. The one on the triple play really freaked me out.

Every dealt Royal is unexpected and special. Since 2007 when we began play we have averaged about 1 dealt Royal a year but we also play 30-40 times a year for thousands of dealt hands every trip. It is mainly a matter of playing enough hands for the stats to come through. 2011 was our biggest year when I caught 3 dealt multi-hand Royals over an 8 month period and Sweet C caught one at the end of the year.
Hoping everyone gets to experience a dealt Royal at least once in their lifetime.

Got two royals dealt on a quarter machine, one royal I was paid by hand and the other one I just took the tito and went to the cashier cage. Depends by casino.

I got my fourth dealt royal last night at Fiesta playing dimes on DDB. The machine auto held the deal and added credits instantly. Really caught me off guard, landed right after walking in the door on my fourth hand. This was royal #159.

649,740 to 1 odds of being dealt a Royal...What about the music? Did you guys get "Where in the money" while it said call attendant... and it seemed like every worker in the house came out to say "you're lucky" and the last couple of hundred is in change ($20s)

Just curious...what's the normal percentage for tipping on hand pays now. Haven't had one since the advent of ticket in ticket out technology.

I set a standard $20 for hand pays regardless of the amount. My thought is that the attendant had to go through the same effort whether for a $1,200 or $12,000 hand pay. They just have to count longer .... OK I did have them cut a check and cash once when I got a really big hit.
