Re: Quick Quads Strategy

No problem. I was just more curious than anything to see how someone would do.

Here is a hand I got that I was unsure on...

A A 9 T T

Pair of aces is always nice, A 9 T T has some quick quad odds, a full house never hurts... what is the best play on this one?

I had something very similar. It was 66AA5. The correct hold(perSM)(which I did) was 66A5. I deduce from that Eduardo that the correct hold for your example would be A9TT.

Well, I did hold the TT9A, and I did hit a quick quad on it.

Same here.  Never thought that I'd see the day when I'd drop a pair of Aces to go for quad 10's.  Go figger.  I'll scream the first time I do that on a for-real machine playing a straight DB/DDB game.

Here is the test. Go play Mono-Line DDB and when you get a pair try to keep your mind from adding up the other cards in the hand.

I see the QQs all the time playing in a casino. Usually lasts about 10 minutes before I quit looking for them.

I see the QQs all the time playing in a casino. Usually lasts about 10 minutes before I quit looking for them. For all the luck I had yesterday, it sure went out the window after my first round early this morning.  I've gone through 2000 credits with nothing but "accidental" QQs and very darn few of those!Nothing but one straight flush in Single Line.  No quads at all.  Rough day for Virtual VP!I MAY see them for the first time tomorrow night.  I'm stopping about half way to Little Rock a a little town called Roland, Oklahoma.  There is an Indian Casino right next door to the hotel so I'll probably slip over there to get something to eat and maybe watch the locals playing Ante Blackjack!  I'll check out the VP but I know there are no full pay machines in Oklahoma.  Well, you might count 9/6 Job on a couple of machines, but none of the bonus games are even close to full pay.  Quarter denomination too.  But I sure see the QQ combos when playing single line here.
