Roland, you've practically printed your heros play suggestions verbatim. Why not just post the website so everyone can see for themselves whats really going on? Your icon scoffed at the Nv. locals for being sucked into the casinos to play long hours to earn little comps and then return to pick up those precious few comps to play more, yet he has no problem seeking and playing those same comp $ that he scorns. Why is that? Why don't so many "ap" players go and take advantage of those free lessons? If it earns you more $ in less sessions, why not play it? Why Roland? Again, one only need to PM OEJ719 to learn the real truth.

You guys still kicking this dead dog around? I've tried to read thru some of it but its hard to keep up because its the same thing over and over again. I think everyone here knows the score, vp is what it is. There is no secret to it just stupidity. I should know because I'm a recovering stupidolic, finally figured out that if I'm going to continue to play I best learn to play by the rules. The last couple of years I've been beat like a drum because of ignorant crap like going for the gold every chance I got and I paid dearly for it. This year I started to pay attention to paytables and making the correct holds so things are going much better for me plus I'm getting to play until I decide when to quit. I will say play however you want but there is no secret recipe for winning at vp.

Do any of you remember the "Chippendale" routine on Saturday Night Live many years ago with Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley?Long after the selection as to who was best and who's method was going to be employed, Chris just kept on dancing, trying to change their minds. There was something about his toils that was sad but amusing. For some reason that image keeps going through my mind when I see a rehashing here of things that have been asked and answered. I have to admit here the balances are tipped more away from amusing and towards sad, but that's just my opinion. If you've not seen the routine, view on youtube, then come back and read this thread and see if anything here seems correlated with the discussion here.

Farley was a genius. This is more like the following:

I suspect that we'll see more based on the same principles, but gussied up with new numbers.
I wouldn't disagree with you about the Farley routine, but more than once during these rehashes I've gotten Twilight Zone flashbacks.

Thanks Eduardo! If one can't laugh at that while reading these posts, you're wound a little too tightly. My original question stands though, " Why keep trying to sell if nobodies buying?"

My friends just sent me the bozo wizard's last column. (if you can call it that)
The pianoman and him both have some college don't forget.
Funny how they coincide weekly I say.
The wizard seems to be the richard simmons of vp, only worse.
PM me for details.

the reality is the stronger players that play games with good paytables and playing them correctly (within .25% of perfect play missed hands hitting wrong button) need the players like roland. I as many of you remember lots of dollar fpdw 101% jw with full comps, now the best is 25c fpdw. this is because of bob dancer who overeducated the tourists at the expense of solid players. unlike authors like jean scott who "helped" the tourists by using coupons and vp (even bad paytables vs slots) help these people have more fun for less and reducing a slotplayer expected loss 80% from -15% ev to -3% on bad paytable vp playing far from perfect and saving them on rooms food shows by getting them comps
