I don't think there's much more to say. Joe has ignored all the facts that make it obvious there is no advantage to short term progressive strategies. He continues to repeat the same nonsense after he has seen very simple arguments that refute them.
Only one possible conclusion. Joe's only motive here to advertise these short term strategies hoping someone will contact the strategy developer and get suckered into the con.

I tried to copy and quote part of Joe's last post in the previous thread to this one but I got discombobulated.   Another inappropriate analogy, this time between numbers and car performance tied to the experience of the tech doing the work.  As you said earlier, 1 + 1 = 2 no matter where it's being done or who's doing it.

I've got a spare PC with a different Windows/browser combo that I could boot up to see if any of the pixels in these posts form different words from what I'm seeing now.

I so far for the most part have kept quiet except for throing in a bit of humor here and there but I would just like to add my .02. (Or should I say my .02/.05/.10/.25/.50/1.00/2.00).  rolandude, or just joe, has been here about a week and at first he was welcomed with open arms by most all of us long termers on this site but as time has gone on he in my opinion has become argumentative to the point of becoming a complete pest. I just wonder how many actual live friends he has where he resides. He has bragged about being worth in the 7 figures, he has discussed the reason(s) why Walmart is able to turn a profit because they sell more for less. Forget about the fact that they buy quite a large portion of their goods from China and that they completely bully their other vendors into selling to Walmart at such low pricing models it boggles the mind. I have not visited his much promoted web page to oogle the silicone ( or saline, jello, whatever) women and I cannot comment on his water retentive face and I do know a thing or two about prednisone. He has touched on perfect math not being so perfect and Arab math and adding a day every 4th year. He had accused shadowman (who's side I will take and I'll get to that) of making too much over progression and lastly he has droned on about the benefits of ARTT.

For the record I could care less about ARTT. I play video poker much the same way Eduardo does, for entertainment and the opportunity to win a buck or two. I enjoy being freinds with Marie and Boops, Faygo and Taqueray. I enjoy bantering with CD and Shadowman, oej and Ed da cat.  We have all joked and teased each other and I have thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of that but we have always wished each other well whenever we found out any of us was off in search of our own version of the golden ticket.

Getting back to shadowman and my reasoning for siding with him. I am a very logical person, have been that way since I was a wee lad. Being logical I have come to understand that most everything in life can be based in some way shape or form on mathematics. The people who design the software that drives the very video poker games we play spend a little bit more time than just 10 minutes or so setting up the programming using mathematics.

I have seen joe do his best to not accept shadowmans, or cd's, or eduardo's, or ed's opinions and instead try to beat ARTT in to our collective heads. My advise to Joe is to play your ARTT system and have a ball but get off your soapbox dude.

Oh and I haven't forgotten webman, I saved the best for last. Webman you are very cool for letting us take over some of these boards and I was cracking up over your decision a week or so ago to pull the plug on scorpio.

If I have forgotten to mention anyone I apologize but I, unlike rolandude, do not have hours a day to sit in front of the keyboard ready to pounce with a retort to the newest post from someone just expressing their opinion.   Ted.

roland/joe: instead of sitting here arguing your point on every forum thread, do something simple like: " If you want to learn what I think is a better way to win more and lose less, PM me and I'll explain." Then you'll find out who really gives a hoot about your system vs. a method that most here utilize in their casino forays. I, for one, don't care to try your method and quite sure Shadow has been there/done that. Quite a few others have too so why try to keep selling when no one is buying? Leave it simple, then try your methodology on VPfree and see what they have to say? Have you tried E-mailing Dancer with your tried and true method? He'll answer quite quickly I might add. I've E-mailed him more than once with various questions about strategy and attended a few of his classes which were free and didn't require one-on-one training to understand. You've laid around the hospital long enough to know that it gets old beating a dead horse. Let it be!

Hmmm, it seems like you always have time for a challenge, though. ()  Thank you for the "thank you!", and for taking the time to post your sentiments.

I will give my true-blue kudos to Joe for his posting today - great stamina!    I came and went thru the day with far less posting, and I'm whipped.

I haven't been on the site as long as some of the others, but I think we probably set a record for the number of posts in a thread in a day.

Yes, WM, and I for one appreciate it.    We sometimes forget that you have more things to do than watch the daily dramas that sometimes unfold in the forums.

Ted it feels good to be included with such excellent company.

pokeherguy, that post was hilarious.

Some  random thoughts:

It occurs to me that if we were to remove the pictures and simplistic numbers on the cards displayed and showed the mathematical equivalency on the cards a whole different outlook on what to hold would follow.  In my case, getting to a casino only a few times a year, stopping at a $100 win isn't worth the effort to even go. Thankfully the casinos I go to don't have multi-denominational machines.   Everytime I hold a high pair instead of three to a Royal and I get a Quad, I just smile. Everytime I hold K,10, 7 suited and get a flush I just smile.  Everytime I hold Q,J unsuited over a lone Ace and get a straight or Quad I just smile.  Everytime I hold a lone low card (AC Joker) and get 5 OAK I just smile.
