Essentially you have two strategies. One strategy for the normal game and one for when shockwave mode is active.

Where can I practice?  thanksI thought Shockwave was only single hand. How would Shockwave on multi-play work?  (Or did you mean something else?)With single-hand Shockwave, after you get a regular-paying set of quads, you get up to 10 deals/draws to get another set of quads that pay off at 4000 coins like a royal.By "multi-play," do you mean 3-play, 5-play, or 10-play?  If so, I would presume that if you just got quads on the lower hand of 3-play, you would have different payoffs for quads on the different hands.  E.g., 10 deals/draws at 4000 on the lower hand while the upper two hands would pay quads off at the regular price until you got quads on either of those hands. If it works this way, you will need another composite strategy (in addition to the ones cited by shadowman at the Wizard of Odd's site) using the average payoff for quads on the 3 hands.

My first taste of Shockwave was a couple of years ago when nothing else was paying. On a $2 MG/MD game at CAZ, I caught the quad 10's in the Shockwave mode for a cool $8k. The machine locked up and after I got paid, they had me play it off.  I held the KQ of hearts and caught the AJ10 for another $8k. Not quite my best day, but awesome none the less.CK

Didn't mean to say multi-play it was multi game/multi denom.  Thanks for the link shadowman, I will check it out.
