I joined this forum to chat with other players about the fun of Video Poker.  It seems that every post eventually morphs into a discussion of social issues or some strange ego tirad.  It's a shame because I enjoy discussing my hobby with others.   Some of you guys need to get a life...

I wouldn't let that turn me off, there are many people on here that have something positive to offer.  But I know what you mean it can get pretty nasty in here at times especially when you have people tell you what you have experienced or witnessed didn't happen because it was mathmatically not correct.  I also think at times some of these posters work for IGT or are some kind of casino lobbyist. Just take a break but I wouldn't leave.. this site has some great members with valuable input including yourself.

 Phil: Understand your frustrations. Seems like some folks treat VP as a vocation rather than an avocation. I have enjoyed your input even if I haven't responded  much lately. Hopefully, you won't disappear completely.

As far as the issue yesterday Phil, ignore Mr. "I want my people to be called Native Americans". Sure that's probably what we should say, but it's on the same level as using "black" instead of "African-American". Using the word Indian by itself isn't being offensive, for example, "Indian" casinos are subject to the "Indian Gaming Regulatory Act". It's not called the "Native American Gaming Regulatory Act".

I feel bad also should have kept my mouth shut. I apologized to katipug and anyone else I offended should have stayed out of it. This is a good site to play and have fun should have not gotten this far. Phil don't leave there are very nice people on this site and I hope you give us all another chance.

I offended the crap out of myself when I ate a bean burrito at the Tex-Mex restaurant inside Mohegan sun in Connecticut......I gobbled it down, saturated in Jalapenos and BEANZ, lotsa BEANS! Beans means Beans

Phil I hope you stay around. I dont post much but read once in awhile and you bring a much needed opinion of things, and a totally different outlook. This forum is like most in the fact that some of the people will get along and others will act like the world has wronged them to anyone who cares to take their punishment....dont let it change who you are.
