STP Questions
When playing STP how often should you expect to get a multiplier? Does it vary depending on the game you are playing as it does in Dream Card? Should you expect the larger multipliers to come as often as the smaller multipliers? I think this has been covered before but I cannot seem to be able to find it anywhere. Thanks for any help in answering these questions.

Roveer is probably the best source on this, since STP is his sweet spot. I believe that the HELP screen on the game has to tell you what to expect for that game. I am not sure if it changes game to game.

Thank you ColorMeOld for posting the wizardofodds link. It answered my questions and addressed my suspicions as to why the 8x and 10x multipliers do not come up more often. It seems that when I get a decent multiplier to work with more often than not I get a dud hand to go with it. Oh well. I guess that's just part of it.

Also an oil additive that saved my neighborhood when I was younger from killing off the remaining mosquito population much to the dismay of the neighbors.

Yeah the Wizard's Page has the breakdown. I tend to play more Double STP now when I do play, but while playing mostly single hand regular STP, I have only made quads with 10X once and a full house with 10X once.
If you think about the math, you would expect a quad at 10X to come in roughly every 375 x 420 = 157,500 hands at regular STP.
Double STP, quads with 10X once on DDB, 4 Deuces with 5X on both Deuces Wild and Bonus Poker Deluxe. Probably a royal cycle or 2 worth of hands total between both game variants. I don't play the game as much as roveer does.

I am beginning to develop a liking for STP. Its good to know that even though it adds a little variance, in the long run it increases your chances of winning though ever so slightly.
My local, Bossier City Horseshoe, does not have STP. I am going this weekend so I will check again and see. We are going to Horseshoe / Harrah's in Council Bluffs Iowa the end of May. Never been there before. Maybe they will have some STP or double STP.
In any event, I have never played STP at the casino. Until now I have been unwilling to give up the extra coin. First chance I get I am going to give it a try. I may have to wait until our trip to Lake Tahoe in June. I know they have it at both Harrah's and Harvey's there.

Looks like I will be able to give it a shot in Council Bluffs. I checked on the game finder here and it shows both Harrah's and Horseshoe have STP. I hope the pay tables are decent. Anyone know?
