Re: September Contest Results: Random Rewards
Ed, you are a riot. I am not a Gold Member and have enjoyed the reparte more than the contest itself. Keep up the good work group!!!
I'll look forward to reading your wit next month, if I'm still warm.
Thanks for the laughs guys. Oh, yeah, and good luck next month y'all.
If in fact, I took the sting off of getting crappy deals when having a big RR and a great dealt hand with no RR, then I'm happy to have helped ease the pain. It's the other folks who are funny. I'm just a wiseguy. I laughed too when I wasn't able to reply to the banter.

we need to whine some more for webman to put on another contest. but in reality in order to win the player must get a dealt royal. how many royals have players gotten dealt in their lifetimes

It's a Q. The million dollar question is: "what letter does the owner (user in this case) use for their forum/player username?" I believe it's a "G" but the wiseguy who sees a "Q" on the bottle label says otherwise.( yes, that would be me)

The label is done in script with the tail of the letter to the right which would indicate that it is a Q. However, how are we to know that that isn't just an error of the original label maker that didn't know that the letter G's tail goes to the left and then crosses over. The only thing for certain is that Qins are made from Juniper Berries.
Tanqueray prefers Q for what is worth.
I myself am heartened to know that we have not lost our touch in taking a topic such as Sept. Contest to new heights.

we need to whine some more for webman to put on another contest. but in reality in order to win the player must get a dealt royal. how many royals have players gotten dealt in their lifetimesBased on the contest results, at least 26 players have at least one more dealt royal than I do lifetime. Still on the schneid for dealt royals (even on line for fun).It was fun trying for randomly rewarded points, but there I guess you still pretty much had to get a dealt flush, full house, or quads when the 2000 bonus was on to finish "in the money."Maybe eliminating points from the top-scoring hand in each session (or capping points at 4000 per dealt hand) would allow for more competition. Of course, there would still be an emphasis on luck, but not quite so much. All in all though, it is really difficult to justify whining at all when there is no entry fee for these contests! (I know, cd, some believe no justification is needed for the true whine connoisseurs)

this is the nature of slot vp tournaments hit one or two monster hands like when we play cash vp like fpdw 5% of the payout money is from royals and 4 wild card without that we would go broke
