Look again.  I don't think I could beat 8135 points with 400 hands!

It's a good thing "tgb" didn't listen to you, because he just beat it.

I know what you mean though. It seems harder for sure. Getting 2 payouts of 4000 in such a short time doesn't happen very often. Never seems to happen for me in these contests... I'm saving mine for the casino.

Nice try, Eduardo.  My quote was I didn't think I could beat that score...so far I haven't and I still don't think I will be able to beat it.  I certainly didn't say or suggest no one could beat that score.Edit:  It's a good thing "tgb" didn't listen to you, because he just beat it.  By the way, it isn't a good thing for razuberii that tgb didn't listen to me! I put the odds at beating 8135 at less than 2800 to 1 when making reasonable game selections but I didn't think I would play enough games to shift those odds in my favor.  Certainly there are a lot more than 2800 games being played by others. The new number by tgb of 8330 has odds of about 3900 to 1 to get beat in any single game that I play.  I think there is at least a 50/50 chance that 8330 will also be beaten though I'm even more confident that it won't be by me.  That doesn't mean that I won't give it at least a couple more tries.Whoever beats it will most likely have to play Royal Aces because the odds are a lot worse if one avoids that game entirely.  (Recall I suggested last time that it might be interesting to eliminate games that produced the most leading scores to see what new games people would migrate to; certainly Royal Aces would be the first candidate for removal under that criterion.)I think it is ok to occasionally try 100 plays instead of 200 to mix things up.  Variety is generally a good thing.

Aw thank you Eduardo! You too can make that board if you play as many games as I did and drive your roommate CRAZY! Thanks to those who egged me on to greater heights! 'Hope to see your names in lights soon! Just another fluke and luck for five minutes of fame.

In the last contest I hit 4 aces 3 times in one session, one with a kicker. Admittedly, there were 3x the number of hands. In the same session I hit quad 3s with a kicker and another quad. Of course, it was worthless in the STP game where only a dealt RF could win.

Such is my usual timing ... a day late (or is that a contest early?) ...
