Contest poll: Single Hand game selection

This last single hand contest was brutal! About 100 sessions and all I could muster was about 1200!

In the contest I play much different then I would in a casino.  I tend to chase royals, bonus 4OK and so on rather than take the sure win.  You need some serious luck to win these no matter what game you play.  As for the comments that these things don't happen in casinos...they do.  I hit back to back royals a few years back in Vegas.

Thank you VP for the different games each month. Learn the games here on your dime, then play them in a casino. Part of the challenge is choosing the right game. It,s a free game  have fun  if your lucky enough to win something enjoy.

i got a royal and nothing else with it ! did not even make top 100
.but it still felt good geting that royal flush. it made me think i had a chance...lol
for about 5 min .lol  good contest anyway!

  if you look at his score it says that he was playing joker poker and the next hand he hit is from double double  and then deluxe poker
how is this possable and what am i missing  out on ?
he has 5 of a kind and the next hand he has 4 0f a kind with kicker ??????

You can change games in the middle of the stream, so to speak.

That's correct. They switched to Double Double Bonus later in the session after playing Joker. You can hit the "more games" button any time to switch it up.

Considering that there are over 217,000 members, and 8,959 people played in the last contest, and only 211 total votes have been cast in this poll, the figures above seem less than representative of how the majority of people feel. Seems like many people may just not be aware that there is a poll at all or they really do not have stong feelings one way or the other.
 
Just an opinion - I like the contests either way. At least changing it up this time created some conversation and debate. Seems like that is always a good thing.
