Quick Quads

Post by King of hearts »

Sometimes the quick quads signs come up on two cards in the first row and the other cards are something like 3 eights.  Is it possible to just hold the two quick quads and try for something better like 2s or aces?

No, a Quick Quad is when you have a 3 of a kind and the 2 remaining cards add up to the face value of that 3-of-a kind. For example: 2,3,5,5,5 (2+3=5)2,5,7,7,7 (2+5=7)A,2,3,3,3 (1+2=3)If you discard the three of a kind, the first two cards will no longer be part of a quick quad. The Quick Quads signs are just there to let you know they add up to the right value.

ok, Webman, correct me if I am wrong....  If you are dealt 2 cards that have "Quick Quads" on them, and 3 8's.   You were probably dealt 2- 4's or something that added to 8.  Which means, you were DEALT a Quick Quads hand... Why would you throw any of them away?????  That guarantees you 3 hand of 4-of-a-kind, and 3 automatic spins..  Doesn't make sense to throw anything away.  Am I wrong?

That's a quad payout. Keep it!To clarify, if you are dealt 3 8's and you have a quick quad, it means the other two cards are one of the following combinations, which all add up to 8:A,72,63,54,4
