Least Favorite Contest?
I'm afraid to admit that as of late, there seems to be many. I have to say, though, that for some reason Multi-Strike seems least appealing to me of them all. I don't enjoy the stair-step climb; mostly because I can't seem to enjoy the game no matter what level I'm at or have a chance of climbing to.

Haven't played it in the contest, but I like playing it at the casino. Sometimes in a really down session, you can catch a nice hit out of nowhere on the 3rd or 4th line and make out well. I find I can last the longest though and get ahead a small to moderate amount by just playing lines 1 and 2. The cold cycles are like ice and can eat you up really fast. Watch out for those.

I'm surprised at the hate for Multi-Strike. Like Olds I like playing it in real life, so maybe that's why I like it on the contest. IRL I play standard deuces and usually switch between three or four line bets.
The game I really hate in the contest it Peek-n-Play, followed by the one with the exploding sheep. I don't care much for the Spin Poker variants, but at least when you put it on turbo it skips the spinning.

I like multi-strike. I hate anything 25-50-100 play and won't play them. I like seeing what I draw. I know you can with 25 but I just don't like lots of hands in a draw.

Try this on Multi-Strike, on the first three levels hold:
1. any paying hand
2. any high cards
3. any low pair
4. any 4-card draw to a ST or FL
5. draw 5
You might get to that 8x level more often. There are more complex strategies but this "naive" one is probably close.
I pretty much only play Multi-Strike, Peek & Play, 6 Card, Super Triple Play and anything with Quick Quads or Dreamcard besides the monthly.

I'll give those a try. Thanks, Fatz. Hopefully if I get some nice sessions and I'll start enjoying this game a little more.
