Yikes....and that is the best place down there and it is a beautiful weekend. Doris.....why not just hop into your ATS and head over there to keep them company and maybe change everyone's luck too. Just keep it below 120 if you do. There is lots of radar out this weekend.

my neighbors just called.they are spending the weekend at borgata and tell me nothing is hitting and it is a ghost town. Thanks for the update Doris.......what do you personally think is going on here?   Why do you think Borgata is Ice cold, and NO ONE is there?  Were your neighbors WARNING YOU, or just calling to say "Hi" and just happened to mention the situation?Only a few weeks ago we had people here maintaining that AC was now on the road to recovery, that the loss of four casinos meant the remaining casinos would now be "OK" and that things would pick up........does not appear that this is the case, especially if the single most successful (and BEST) AC property is sucking wind on an otherwise NICE spring weekend!    Does not bode well for AC......By the way........I AM Leaving for AC in about 2 hours so when I get there I will go and check out the scene and when I return I will report back

Good luck to you in Atlantic City DaBurglar. Are you running late? I remember that you had previously mentioned that you would be in Atlantic City April 12th thru April 18th. By not being there on the 12th maybe you missed all the machines being in a down cycle.

The way my mind works, half cartoon, half realism, and half lost in the 50's,....It reminds me of the Legend of Zelda. Spent many hours playing that when my daughter was growing up. Could never come close to beating her at that game. I did see the episode the other night up at Mohegan. Since I don't get HBO at home, my excuse to go to the casino sometimes is to watch good stuff up there like the Boardwalk Empire series.

Edited to add....OK, how about a new mini series called game of Drones. Wacked out genius computer geeks from high school or college stalk each other with their own version of handcrafted Drones. Things get out of hand, and the Drones start duplicating themselves, take out their masters ( the students ) and then begin the quest for world domination. One of the student geeks has his control panel set up like a video poker game. There, I worked vp into the post. The only problem is...they didn't eliminate all of their masters so the battle continues...etc. etc. etc.....I guess I should really finish that Sci Fi novel I started when I was 10, but everything in that has come true already. One of the student geeks has his drone shop set up in the basement of a long abandoned casino in A/C. Secret tunnels and passages the who bit. Jammers too so the other drones can't hone in on him.

The two surviving drone masters named Ted and Daburglar are forced to join forces to combat the drones. Daburglar is hunkered down in the casino basement in A/C. His drones are made from parts of old vp machines and the screens all look like a vp game. He has managed to contact Stephen Hawking from beyond and build himself a super high tech Wheelchair to aid in his drone assembly.
Ted is located in Chicago well underground in an old mob bunker once used by Capone. The Feds never found this one and it still has its Tommy guns hanging on the wall. Some were used to arm the drones and one friendly alien from an unknown planet is also aiding in the drone assemblies.
Together they will fight the self duplicating drones by joining forces in a somewhat shaky alliance. The question remains....If they manage to save the world and defeat the "bad" drones, what then. Divide the world each owning 1/2 or keep the alliance going and build two of the most patron friendly casinos in history. One located in Chicago and the other in A/C.
