Too much to type here but if you type in 87% election 1984, market businessinsider.com will come up and it talks all about it the bottom line is if the stock market was doing well the three months before the election, the incumbent would get in Every time since 1984. And since 1928 the S&P 500 if it was doing well has been correct 87% of the time same timeframe three months before the election

The S &P 500 is in record territory as we speak. If it lasts till late October, there is a huge chance Trump will get reelected.

They are. In fact cnn just had that Dr Seigal on trying to explain away cases going down. By the way, as of Sunday, and there are more now. 475 Shootings in Brioklyn. 234 same period last year. NYC can’t do it alone in this climate when they aren’t even supported. De Blasio of course wants no help from the Feds

People need to work and have hope and not live with their hand out for their entire lives looking for handouts from the government.
This, a thousand times over. I am one for welfare reform as that system was intended to provide basic necessities until one can get back on their feet, not as a way of life. I am also for an honest days work for an honest days wage. If somebody really wants something, they'll go after it until they catch it, no matter how long it takes. Don't wait until someone hands it to you, because you'll be waiting a very long time. If you don't follow your dreams, someone else will most certainly pay you to follow theirs, and it might not be what you like.
The framers of our Constitution took many elements of English Law and the Magna Carta as a starting point while writing the greatest document in the history of the world.
However they missed one part. In England,at the time, the poor, the destitute, and the starving were placed on the public "dole". Enough to barely stay alive and a great incentive to do better. While on the "dole" voting age citizens GAVE UP THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE! Why? In a quote from an economist at the time it necessary "...lest they vote themselves even more largess...".
Since the 60's and the war on poverty and the great society,on and on until earned income tax credits and layers of welfare programs the dem's have used public funds, private property confiscated from citizens thru the tax systems to BUY VOTES!
If a person cannot see how this missing constitutional restraint has led to the social mess we are in he/she has not been paying attention.

Yes, it's a huge problem. We see it most blatantly from the dems as they buy influence with other people's money.

I'm not sure I would agree that people on "the dole" should not be allowed to vote. But I do believe all Americans should pay at least a small portion of federal income tax, and that any new law passed increasing government expenditures should be a burden carried by all in some capacity. I'm fine with the rich carrying the vast majority of the burden, but people should not be able to support multi-trillion dollar packages that cost them nothing in the end. Failing to do so only encourages the hugely irresponsible spending that we see (from both parties), when a majority can simply say "of course I want this, the rich will pay for it!"

Another huge problem on the other side of the spectrum would be the influence of wealth in politics.

True words Eduardo. Of course, given our system, we cannot disenfranchise any citizen as a voter.
But politicians should recognize the problem instead of capitalizing on it! Both parties! As you point out.

The "wealthy" bear 90% of the tax burden now! 47% of the employed pay no taxes now! Most of them have voted themselves the "Largess" of an earned income tax credit which is nothing more than a transfer of wealth!
Wake up people! The swamp creatures are fighting tooth and nail to preserve this system that guarantees their plush overpaid bureaucrat jobs! Most of those jobs are held by political appointees,Rep. and dem. who could not make 1/4 of their salary in the free enterprise system!
Rule #1 for swamp draining? Do NOT expect any help from the snakes and alligators!

If 47% of workers aren't making enough to have to pay taxes, I'd say the system is broken.Instead of demanding the poorest amongst us pay more taxes, why not insist they make more money so they reach the minimum income needed to pay taxes. If it is true that companies like Walmart hold seminars for their employees on how to fill out applications for Medicaid rather than pay for their employees health care, I have no problem taxing the hell out of them.
