Re: Biden’s lead is slipping
What's interesting is the Democrats thoroughly rejected the Sanders / Warren direction and went with the most (Democratically speaking) opposite candidate from them that they could have. Yet everything we are hearing right now about what the Democrats will do to our country is as if this were a Bernie/Warren ticket, with an Antifa kid slated to run the DHS and AOC in charge of the Treasury. Whatever instills the most fear of the left, that is what they are pushing. That simply isn't what a Biden / Harris ticket is going to look like, and it just makes Trump/GOP look desperate.

why bother commenting on the election, you DON"T count. no vote, your opinion means nothing.
go back to finding compassion for thugs/criminals who kick innocent folks in the head or TORTURE someone for 15 days.

I don't believe I ever expressed compassion for the hooligan who assaulted the guy in Portland. These people are criminals. I don't feel a need to comment on situations that are clearly crimes, where the perpetrators clearly need to be brought to justice. All of the violence, assaults on federal property and businesses are inexcusable. I haven't seen anyone here making excuses for that behavior or saying that it's acceptable in any way. Of course I have compassion for the businesses and people affected. That should go without saying.
As for commenting on the election, I don't see why voting for Trump makes your opinion more "valid" than mine. You get to vote, I get to vote. You get to comment, I get to comment. I know you'd rather not hear any other views that challenge your devotion to the President, but too bad.

Notes, when choosing a candidate in an election, we don't always get to choose the perfect candidate. Most of the time, we are ok with choosing the best available candidate. Hopefully Eduardo will look at the available candidates and make the determination that Biden is, by far, the best available candidate.

i disagree with your choice, but i would give him more credit, if he did that. but, he can't get the perfecttttt candidate, so he simply chooses to throw insults, every once in awhile.felix wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 12:16 pmNotes, when choosing a candidate in an election, we don't always get to choose the perfect candidate. Mark Levin dubbed Harris as the most extremist radical politician ever to run for high office in the USA. You can read the shocking details on his site. He also said she is to the left of 97 percent of the rest of the politicians. If this is what you want this country to become, then you should vote in that direction.

biden is likely to lose this election and one of the reasons is exactly what you are using for an excuse.
non stop rioting/looting/mayhem, the destruction of public and private property, the destruction of businesses, NEEDS to condemned. not needing to comment is bs. this is precisely the mistake that will cost the dems the election. they tried to play cute.... and the voters have seen through it all. and, it scares the heck out of those who want law and order. that is what will get trump elected. he stood for law and order from day one, backed the cops from the start.
you and your friends......choose not to comment.

Nobody is running on a "non-law-and-order" platform, otherwise I would comment on those things. I haven't seen any evidence of Biden supporting defunding the police or condoning violence. When everyone agrees on something, why debate it?
It's not like the kooky Seattle mayor is running for President.

half the country sees it differently. and, they are both pissed and scared and going to take it out on dem candidates. you and your fellow dem friends keep believing that acts of destruction, don't deserve condemnation.

Keep saying it, that won't make it true. I've already condemned it, right here in this thread.
I already quoted Biden condemning it.
Yes, half the country is "pissed and scared." We live in the same country and I'm certainly not shaking in my boots. I guess that says more about us than the state of the country.
