i don't particularly like the harrahs diamond lounge food.it's sorta like standing in a soup welfare line,and you get meals like you have at home,except no fresh hot burgers.

scorpio2, I have to admit you have a point about Harrah's Diamond Lounges. Some are definitely better than others.                                                       At the Paris Diamond Lounge, there was a sign they were serving hot hors d'Oeuvres during a given hour. Of course, we were not in the building at that time. On the up side, Harrah's properties will honor comp points from one's Total Rewards Players Card anywhere, including Canada, Reno, Vegas, Laughlin, MS, and AC. Three MGM properties in Vegas, Excalibur, Luxor and Mirage, will NOT let us use our many comp points from MGM Grand Detroit at their buffets.

marie,yeah i think i was sorta protesting harrahs raising the tier credits to 11000 for diamond,when the lounge in harrahs isn't that great of food.i do like ballys,showboat.buffets are good in harrahs.we sleep too late for most breakfasts,so just grab a muffin,and coffee.

see in presspluss of ac,tropicana is giving reduced rates on their midweek meals,something like 35 bucks for a 3 course meal at steakhouse.

No reference to free coffee but whatever. Scorpio, here we get a 4 course meal with a 12 oz. cut at sizzler for $7.99 It ain't got riders whip marks on it either!

harrahs in ac used to have a free coffee pot outside restaurant,as the lines were so long.now,no lines.still free coffee in rooms but not as good coffee.
