Teachers pet far from it. All I am saying is you never get something for nothing. The non-payers on this site have to deal with bothersome ads. so what, that is their payment for the privledge for playing. I am just pointing out there is a very easy way to never see those ads again.

I have it up,  too and I HATE it. Poor pig.. It is shortened though from yesterday. I would rather watch a Gerber Baby Food ad and a kid throwing up as compared to taking a knife to an animal. Bllggh!I believe the knife ad has been removed. We're still trying to find an ad with a kid throwing up baby food, but it may take some time. Your patience is appreciated.[/QUOTE]
If anyone has kids and now grandkids, there are thousands of pictures around. Mother's think it is cute..Father's gag immediately. especially smushed peas!! Ha! How many guys did I get with that image!! OOHH, visual image..the E-Trade baby with the milk coming back up on him. I want to wipe his little mouth..my husband wants to chuck him under the chair. See, women are tougher.

For about a quarter a day you could go GOLD and never see that ad again.
OK, Edog, you got me. I had 230,000 points and I have now redeemed it for 5 days of Gold Membership. It was never the money..it was our banking accounts had attempted to be hacked about 2 years ago, and it took weeks of paper work to straighten it out. I have no credit card of any kind, and we don't order anything on line. It was awful. By the way Webman, thank you for stopping the ad.

Cook1947, if you do want to go Gold after your 5 free days, one way to do it without a credit card is to buy one of those pre-paid Visa cards at the grocery store and use that. We may offer PayPal in the future as well, though I'm not sure if you'd be comfortable with that either. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.Pre-paid cards should work just like a credit card though, with no personal information or risk of money being taken beyond the pre-paid amount, since it's not linked to any account.I think that some banks also offer one time use cards for online purchases or something similar, but I'm not sure of the details.

edog: I think you like telling non-paying members to "pay up, or shut up". Were you the teacher's pet in school?

I too have noticed that he doesn't care for us "FREELOADERS". His word, not mine.
