Re: I love America
after what he did to chris kyle's family i put nothing past him
doris you may want to look into the late Chris Kyle and his family. Plus a jury found that Ventura was in fact, defamed. So if you back extrapolate; if Kyle didn't defame Ventura in his book then Ventura would not have sued. Chris Kyle died February 2, 2013 and Ventura sued in June of 2013, he would have sued Chris himself if he were still alive.

american politics can be nasty and dysfunctional, check history, it has always been that way. americans elect the person they feel is right for that particular time period. after nixon, they wanted squeaky clean, they got carter. after carter, they wanted economic growth/prestige, they got reagan. after bush 1, they wanted someone who understood them, they got clinton. after monica, they wanted clean again, they got bush 2. after financial collapse, they wanted out of wars, the rich to pay more and free stuff, they got obama. as far as wars go, i am no expert. but, i get the sense that since ww2, america has fought with one hand tied behind it's back. remember dresden. remember hiroshima. these events, while horrific, won wars, but will never happen again. americans are quick to blame the pols for their problems, but they largely get what they asked for and they deserve the results. many were ready to blame all their financial woes on bush, the banks and wall street. while each has to take some reponsibility, our financial problems were a result of 35 years of overspending, over borrowing and not saving enough. many americans need look no further than the mirror to see who was is to blame for their plight.

(Hmmm, reminds me of someone we had on here for a long time that recently disappeared) ....anyway, yes, I believe in the "watch out for what you wish for"s, but, speaking of wishes; I wish we could have more and better candidates to choose from. I think we voters choose the best at the time due to very slim pickens.

Well, o.k.; that's your opinion and I respect it. Doesn't mean though that I agree with it.

Yeah, For anyone who still thinks OJ didn't do it, explain how Ron Goldman's blood got into OJ's Bronco. Never met the man till that night.

OJ didn't do it, the butler did it. Geez, haven't any of you ever played clue? Maybe if you get out from all those video poker games and play something different you'll get some enjoyment out of life.

That's right OJ didn't do it. According to Johnny Cochran OJ was chipping golf balls in the yard with his 3 WOOD!OY!
