Earlier today, a little birdy PM'd me and asked if I'd seen a spate of new messages posted by a new forum member to some older threads, including this one.  I took a look, and saw that the new messages had external links as part of the tag line.  It may shock some readers to admit that I'm kind of the suspicious type (), but when I saw those embedded links I assumed that the new messages were posted simply as fluffers to get some free advertising for that site.
I certainly wouldn't expect WM to be here 24/7 to catch posts like that, but I don't think a 24/6 + 12/1 presence would be asking too much. 
 
If there's an innocuous explanation for those posts then I apologize.

  CD I sent webman a pm about those same links earlier today. When I first looked at some of the dates of the forum posts I grew suspicious , threw caution to the wind and sent the pm.
