I really thought the Dire Wolves would play a bigger role.
Ghost is still around, but have we seen Arya's since it ran off after attacking Jeffery?

With all the awards and critical acclaim this show is getting and has received; I feel like I am missing out on a classic series.  But as I read the above replies, I'm reminded why when I see trailers and hear the story lines you describe; I don't have the stomach to watch and am quite a scardy cat.   Enjoy, guys.

If you enjoyed the LOTR films, you'd probably like this.

Ghost is still around, but have we seen Arya's since it ran off after attacking Jeffery?Nymeria, Arya's wolf, is actually a semi-important character in the actual BOOKS.......in the books, Nymeria escapes and ends up mating with a regular alpha male wolf amongst the riverlands, and little by little they forge this SUPER pack of hybrid wolves/direwolves that end up terrorizing the whole countryside, eating livestock and people alike!   They make no distinction between "good" guys and "bad", apparently finding both types of people tasty.   Of course, with all the world being at war for the last 10 years, the super pack has had lots of dead corpses to feed upon so in that sense they are like the westeros Sanitation and Mortuary service combined.....har har.In the books anyway, there is hope Arya will return to westeros and somehow "find" Nymeria one last time.

Poor Hodor. It all makes sense now. I thought that last scene was brilliant. Maybe Bran can worg him to safety. In another storyline, I cannot wait to see what Sansa does to Ramsey! I hope it's as brutal as he deserves. I'm thinking his dogs are due for a good meal. Hey Buff, check out this latest theory:  sansa may actually be PREGNANT with Ramsay's "heir"!      Think about it:   When she rips into Little finger and tells him how badly Ramsay hurt her, she says "I cam STILL FEEL IT, even now!"      Remember the whole point of Ramsay raping Sansa EVERY NIGHT for who knows how long was to produce an heir (well that and the fact Ramsay is the worst, most despicable character on this show, which is saying a lot.)

You all may want to catch what should be a great parody. Game of Zones.

Well, I am mentally exhausted, as well as dizzy, after watching the absurd, claustrophobic episode, titled "Battle of the Bastards", this past Sunday (June 19) .... talk about over the top mayhem, violence and chaos!?!!     Not to mention there were so many plot holes and several  "WTF" moments that really did detract from the overall quality and integrity of the episode's story. For now I will just ask someone here to explain to me WHERE that wall/pile of bodies came from?    No way in heck it materialized from earlier casualties!

No time to get into it though. lol   "midget character"     I think the real midget character would prefer the term  DWARF ..... also, he actually happens to be, arguably, the main protagonist at this point along with the blond dragon queen and Jon snow.    The dwarf is also the best actor by far on the show......I hope he wins the Game of Thrones!Anyway, what a bizarre, at times awesome season finale last night!     This actually is my one real gripe with this show......the CRAM each season into 10 episodes when in reality they need at least 12 or more.....it only gets worse, since next season will only be 7 episodes and then the final season 8 only 6!!!!     HBO apparently is reallllllly stingy with the $$ for production.....
