Nobody go by me, but I just sold all my winners and reduced my stock exposure in my 4O3B to 15 percent. Being that next week, I will be more than 3/4 of a century old, I decided to kinda do a hit and run. For now, I’ll take the 5 percent in their Money Market on the proceeds. I’ll keep the losers hoping they come back in time and at worst sell some of them toward the end of the year to offset the other gains. Can’t get that overdue 10-30 percent correction which is overdue out of my head.

Just a quick note…..If Biden were to get in, the top Marginal Tax rate on Capital Gains would go from 23.8 percent to 44.6 percent. 😬 Also it would be likely you would kiss the stepped up basis on inherited property goodbye. Many of the baby boomers like myself had parents who paid 10,000-15,000 for their homes shortly after WW2. They could now easily be worth 250,000-500,000. You would kiss that basis goodbye.

Close to -1% across the three indexes to send me reeling into the weekend. Just what I needed.

Selling across the board today. Could still just be profit taking or something more😬 happening. Even the Russell 2,000 sold off some. The big boys have been rolling their gains on the high flyers into the Russell. Still a bit too early to tell. The technical gang like Josh should give us some insight before Monday.

My buying has been limited. I have more cash on the sidelines now than I have had for quite awhile. I agree with Olds I also can't get that correction out of my head. I sold 6 holdings early this past week when the markets were going up. I have been trying to sell Baba. I have had a sell on it for probably a year but it has never reached my price. Stock is worth a lot more than the market price but because it is from China there is fear in buying it. I will continue to hold until I get my price.....for now.

Yeah. It would be healthy to get back into Josh’s posts. Actual knowledge that I can process instead of the silly entertainment distractions I turn to.

Watch the latest one over the weekend. Monday will be touch and go. But will it be up or down? Comes down to support levels and breakout points. I reluctantly sold ABR Thursday. DOJ investigation. Still did ok, but I wanted to keep that one as long as interest rates were trending down. I’m going to miss the dividends. I think we’ve got about a 3 percent correction so far on things. Not enough, but when? When you have an attempted assassination attempt one day (don't get me started on that ) 🙏 and a major cyber outage the next, anything could happen.

Wednesday is just go. As in sell off city. It’ll take a few months to rebuild the value lost. Horrific week for me.
