Hey Case. It’s maybe just me, but I might hold off a bit. Their earnings come out on 2/10. On the surface though, it looks pretty good. Barchart and Barrons have lots of info on it. Barchart rates it as a hold. Great dividend. Could always put a little in, see how it goes and add to it if things seem ok. I’m no expert on this so it’s just my opinion. I’m going to put it on my watch list for the moment. Zack’s rates it as a hold too. If I owned it, I would be thrilled to just maintain price with a dividend over 13 percent.

Same here. I have picked up a few goodies after following up on some of your posts here. Speaking of which…..I missed the boat on DE as it left the dock in July of last year. Closed at 476 today. 😬

Canadian markets opened down 800 and closed the day down 291. I picked up a few things early but not much.

Off to Las Vegas for the next week. However wife came up sick today and she ended up cancelling so I am on my own. She has a cold/flue the usual that is going around. I had it in January. I also noticed that our last three Vegas trips we came home sick. There seems to be lots of bad things getting passed around from person to person. Everyone I talk to has been sick or someone close to them. Had my flue shot but not covid.

Wish me luck!

Good luck case and swift recovery for the Mrs. I had the same BS in early January. Lasted 12 days. Coracidin was a big help. And menthol honeez drops. I’ve. Even staying away from other players and playing late at night and early morning. And buffets bad same dirty serving pieces. No more experimental Covid shots for me either. We have friends who got life changing conditions just weeks after getting the boosters. I even skipped the flu shot this year after I read some stuff about it. Staying up to date though on pneumonia, whooping cough, tetanus shots etc. and shingles shots that I put off for years until a friend of ours got shingles in her eyes. Will spare you the details.

As you've perhaps read, we just returned from there, and I did very very well. But, there's still a lot there for you and others.

Good luck with grabbing some of it.

Where will you be staying?

Keep in mind the authorities who tell you to obsessively avoid germs, also told you the shots are safe and effective.

I was shot put champ in 8th grade 😂 ( I know big deal ). I trust the Government less than I could throw that shot put. ( with very few exceptions ). Before this November, there were no exceptions.

Nice! I'm too accident-prone for anything like that. I would be out of the sport the first time I dropped the shot on my foot :ouch: .

Most of my holdings have rebounded from the late 2024 selloffs, but SSL remains unloved.

First half of January was robust, but sadly I missed the opportunity to trim near 5.50.

Multi-year chart is horrific. (That's why you should only play single-year.)

The stock is so cheap, I'm not even going to explain why I'm buying more today. Instead, look how ugly their headquarters is!

That's in the Johannesburg metro area. I think they must have used the same architect as that building in downtown Vegas:
