Red on a green day.

Ahead of the open, US stocks are +3% while internationals are only up a little.

TLT is pushing down toward the recent lows, as the 30y yield approaches 5%.

Gold miners are -5%. I'm hoping for a 9:30am flush to buy into the panic.

PAAS Pan American Silver is -8% on news that it's acquiring MAG Silver. Looks like a good pickup. Moments ago I got one fill below 25. Last week, PAAS reported robust earnings. My only concern is that the MAG acquisition may indicate a lack of confidence in Guatemala, where the company wants to reopen the Escobal mine.

I'm going down swinging.

Multiple purchases of PAAS, now approaching 23 from the wrong direction.

AEM below 109.

HL is only down fractionally. That was a good pickup, but it's a smaller position.

In one trading session, my portfolio went from an all-time high to an all-time woah.

I'm loading the dinghy on both AEM and PAAS. Gold stocks are supposed to trade with either gold or stocks. Stock market is +3%. Gold is trading above where it started the session.

Gold has been trading right with the market till recently. I’m still glad I picked up HL. I’ll wait it out for awhile. People are panicking over Greg Abel taking over from Buffett. Amazingly Berkshire is down a bit today. I may grab a few more shares.
