I don't think that will be enough. That is where we differ.felix wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 9:11 amNo problem admitting if I'm wrong. None at all. I will be here the morning of November 4 to own up and eat humble pie if I'm wrong. If the Trump people on this board, especially Notes, will do the same, then that's a nice step forward.
In terms of what will Biden say when he campaigns? It's very simple, very short and sweet. But deadly effective. "I am not Donald Trump."
why vote for biden?

Let us pray that it is. Now we get to see if She really hates America or was just playing a practical joke on us.

Words, just empty words from a broken man. How pitiful.
Do you remember when people said what they meant, and were willing to stand by their words?

Why should I vote for someone who is going to raise my taxes !
These people are excited about having there taxes raised.

I remember when Daddy Bush ran for president. His campaign slogan was " READ MY LIPS, NO NEW TAXES ! "
He kept to his promise. He didn't give us new taxes. He just raised all the taxes we already had.
Then the economy went to down.

Because sometimes it's the right thing to do. Country first, and all that corny stuff.

if one's idea of the right thing to do includes;
-giving free healthcare to anyone who makes it into this country, legal or illegal
-giving free college to everyone
-giving a guaranteed job to everyone
-giving a guaranteed income, whether one is willingly to work or not
-forgive all college loans
-pay reparations for misdeeds from a couple of hundred years ago on top of the trillions already paid

Man years ago, back when I was in ROTC at Hofstra, my Pershing Rifles unit was Company Q of the 8th Battalion.
We had a t-shirt that read- Not for me, nor for you, but always 4Q.
A bunch of us were wearing them one day at a charity event when the organizers asked us to remote them because someone found it offensive.
Now that our prez has seemingly embraced the morons who believe in Q, I wonder if we should start selling them again.

Reading about Bannon this morning and the big Build The Wall fraud, and all of a sudden I just closed my laptop. Closed it, shook my head wearily, and thought to myself, "I am so sick and tired of this. I just want some normalcy."
That's what I'm doing on November 3: Voting for a return to normalcy.
