Defense of what? I'll try anything to do what? what are you talking about?

Where do you get nys and nj leaving for other destinations, show me the source, and just what does that have to do with covid 19 and casinos?

I have zero illusions, or ambition, that I can or will convince you of anything, change your mind on anything. Why couldn't you just contribute something casino and covid19 related instead of Leaping to a pointless half baked defense of the indefensible?

And you do know that most people who died of this terrible pestilence, where ever they live are already old or sickly or both? Not everyone, but a lot.

And stop with the "liberal dem" or " libs" pejorative labels, you can't possibly have that much hostility and hatred for people you don't know, never met and never will.

I am neither liberal or a Democrat.

If notes didn't have his hatred, he'd have nothing. He sees the world through an ugly black and white lense.
Anyone who disagrees with him must be destroyed.

Hatred is such a wasted emotion. The online environment really emboldens it. Boards are just as bad as Facebook Instagram Twitter universe.

I have seen hateful, hostile posts on both sides of the political spectrum on Facebook and elsewhere directed at people they don't know who ideologically differ from them. There are good, kind, caring folks on both sides who should not be equated with their nasty cohorts. I don't do political posts because that does not, and should not, define me as an individual.

ant reb, you get awfully upset when someone simply replies to your post, with facts.

-you brought up density, as that may be some kind of excuse for both NYS and NJ death tally.

-NYS and NJ lead the nation in both total deaths and deaths per 100k residents. and, the governors were, at least partly responsible.

-multiple sources quote census data, showing NYS and NJ among states losing most population. the exodus started long before chinese virus. these are ny and nj citizens saying, get me the hell out of here. the virus will only exagerate that exit process. data per IHS MARKIT 01-2020.

-YOU are the one who posted that the virus is 'better managed and under control in the northeast'. but, you seemed to forget how UNCONTROLLABLE the virus was in the northeast, before it was under control. you made a statement, i simply provided evidence, you had omitted some key facts.

Yeah you're right notes1, you got me....I shouldn't be "upset" when you show me the error of my ways, I should follow you're example and be cool and level headed, respectful of all opinions and calmly state my case with civility.

I don't know how I could be so wrong about so much....thank you.

now your defense is density? you will try anything. speaking of NYS and NJ, they are the two states with the greatest number of people leaving for other destinations. that is NYS and NJ residents speaking with their feet and wallet...get me out of here!

covid deaths;
NYS-#4 most populated- 168 deaths per 100k residents
NJ-#11 most populated- 179 deaths per 100k residents

TX-#2 most populated-32 deaths per 100k residents
FL-#3 most populated-38 deaths per 100k residents

guiliani left office in 1999, all it took was 6 years of de blasio to take nyc into a crime infested, shooting/murder sewer. liberal dem, what else.

death rates-per statista 08-10-2020
Actually, most of suburban NJ along with other areas outside of NYC is benefiting from the flight out of NYC by people that have the means. In Bridgewater NJ, an area maybe 45 minutes from NYC on I-78 by car, people are getting up to $75,000 over asking price on their houses. A lot of people are taking advantage of the hot market and putting their places up for sale. Where they are going, I don't know.
