I still don't understand the call to go for it on 4th down up 24-10.

I didn't see the game, lol, but the call looked acceptable to me. A missed field goal in that situation would be brutal. Very few head coaches are truly aggressive, so it's refreshing to find one.

Monday morning QB ing myself…..a 46 yard field goal is no gimme. Probably about a 1 in 4 chance of a miss. My guess is coach Campbell of course wanted an even bigger lead knowing who Detroit was up against. The way we would have played it in school would have been ( only 2 yards to go ) to try a short run and if necessary hopefully dive over the pack for the TD. I think our line back then would have only averaged about 175 and wouldn’t have had the height of today’s players. Then just go for one extra point with the kick. But what do I know. I’m just a VP rec player.

It was cool to see Motown Amateur Hour show close for the season in front of an SRO house. Performance didn't match the hype and swagger, so they got the dagger.
