A famous quote of Sophie Loren:
"Sex appeal is fifty percent what you've got and fifty percent what people think you've got."

In her case, that would be 100% and 50% on top of that. The only close second that comes to mind immediately is the movie One Million BC with Raquel. By the way BJ, she was born in Chicago.

Yes she was. Good Midwestern stock.
To paraphrase Curt Jürgens from "The Enemy Below", when he took his sub down to the bottom, with the depth needle way in the RED ZONE, to avoid Robert Mitchum's depth charges..
"We build them good in Chicago - eh Heinie ?"

"We build them good in Chicago - eh Heinie ?" holy crap !! pROPS TO BILLYJOE! That is one of my all time favorite War movies, and is one of the best War films EVER made!!!!Theodore Bikel (sp?) played Heinie.......Are you a war movie Buff Billyjoe? If so, when I see you October 11 we can spend a few minutes talking about that as well!!My favorite scene was when the Sub COmmander (Jurgens) senses that the continuous depth charging is taking its toll on his crews' morale and frame of mind, he risks all in order to play a uplifting Bar Song on the ship's sound system! Do you remember the tune? Here it is (about 3 minutes)! "Sing it HEINIE!!!"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7Vme9jUhloALso, one of the "bloopers" in the film, is when they show the U-Boat's Clock glass shattering from a depth charge....the clock reads "Timex" !!!! lol oops still a great flickAlso#2 Curt Jurgens was a great German Actor (remember him from the Bond Film "Spy WHo Loved me"? ) But Ironically, even though he often portrayed Nazi Germany Military officers, he was imprisoned in a CONCENTRATION CAMP in 1944 because Goebels (who was in charge of all German movie making) considered the actor politically unreliable and disloyal, which of course he was!
