Cheating in the NFL, Deflategate - redux

Cheaters period. What they have done the last bumpken years is meaningless. They have been caught red handed multiple times. It all started with the NFL wanting and making them win with the tuck rule. They bend every rule. The coach should have been out for the year like the Saints---who was told it was his job to know what was going on with his team and he was responsible without knowledge and missed a year. The Cheatriots period.

i guess tom brady went to the hillary clinton school of coverup. destroyed his cell phone and memory (sim?) card the day he was to meet about investigation into football situation. other than being opposed to cheating at anything, i really did not give a hoot about this, but, destroying possible evidence, makes it a lot more interesting. this is something that brady will not easily talk his way out of.

Not only cheaters, but liars as well. If you condone what this organization has done, then that shows your lack of character as well.
Somehow this post seems even more appropriate today. Liked the post then; and its' message has so not been deflated.

Da what say you now????I am saying what every true patriots fan is saying right now.....this is very disappointing and clearly shows Tom Brady is no different than any other flawed human being with a oversized sense of pride and sense of "Self" (something TED can tell us all about as well.)99% of all professional athletes (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) in the USA are overpaid, overindulged, underdisciplined egotistical individuals with a sense of entitlement that "normal rules do not apply to them."   All of you know this.....Tom Brady is no different, except until just now when I read the cell phone details I believed that he was "grounded enough" to not go too far or get caught with his pride and ego in the jaws of public opinion.   I do not LIKE TOM BRADY nearly as much as I used to, and no longer care how much longer he plays for NEW ENGLAND.     What else can I say?    Clearly he is not as unique or "special" as he once would have had us believe, in terms of how he deals with and reacts to NORMAL everyday adversity and setbacks.It is NOT the fact that he "CHEATED" by using underinflated footballs.....It is the fact he covered it up.We have seen ad nauseum  that over the years, in many ways shapes and forms. many NFL teams bend or break (or have done so) certain rules when the deem it worth the benefit and risk, and in the case of "Soft balls", the patriots are not the only team to mess with air pressure (which by the way, the rule was initially invented to prevent KICKERS from gaining an edge by OVER inflating balls and making them go farther and be less wind influenced.)    The actual game the PATRIOTS were "busted" in clearly was NOT influenced  by soft balls as related by the final score (45-7!)    It is VERY strange that. in Brady's prior 14 years in New England,  NO OTHER team or opposing player EVER caught onto or noticed the Patriots were intentionally softening balls ....!?!?!?!   How can this be if.....IF the conspiracy to deflate balls was going on for such a long time and om such a HUGE scale??     Could it be that, since thegame in question, the PAtriots-Colts AFC title game, was being played on a BRUTALLY BRUTALLY cold, record LOW temperature   4 PM game time start, that someone as normally aware and smart as BRADY did in fact say "hey maybe we need to remove a little air from the ballz  since it is so damn cold anyway....."But no, Tom BRADY never said any such thing, HE NEVER OFFERED A REASONABLE, EVEN REMOTELY CONCILIATORY  RESPONSE......he just DENIED DENIED DENIED, arrogantly so......So now, as a pissed off lifelong patriots fan who defended his team and its ICONIC star like any good fan is supposed to, I now DENY DENY DENY my "fanship" of TOM BRADY and instead no announce I am officially on the JIMMY GARRAPOLO Bandwagon!I only pray that Jimmy absolutely plays lights out in the four games Tom is gone, and give Tom a dose of his own "karma:......

I am not a lawyer and I'm definitely not a New England Patriots fan. While I believe Brady and the Patriots probably had the footballs tampered with, I also believe that someone is considered innocent until proven guilty. A column by Mike Lupica, the esteemed New York Daily News sports columnist, provides food for thought on this matter. In a column found online today entitled, "Roger Goodell's overkill on Tom Brady DeflateGate suspension is offensive" he quotes a "noted sports attorney" who said "I’m sorry, but at the end of the day, there is still zero credible evidence that Brady had a hand in deflating those footballs... There is still no direct witness and no electronic evidence." This despite the brouhaha over the destroyed cellphone.   Here is a link to that column:
