Re: 'Gaming Today' dumps Fa La La La La.... La la la la
Only thing he packs is a purse, chapstick, and slotcards so he can get points, visine, and a hangover.
Ohhhh, I don't know oej. Sometimes he seems to take things too personally. Even a chapstick can be dangerous in the hands of a crazed man - he could put your eye out!
Maybe the forum members who won't be attending should make a note to have CNN on at the time of his presentation in case there are any incidents.

This is all so sad. What will oej do for serious fun and entertainment? Will his Fa La La La La.... La la la la-dinger have to go silent? How sad if there were no dinger days! I have been cracking up reading these posts.

Gin, we wish it was the end, we surely do. We can't let this small victory go to our heads - no, indeedy. Rob always finds ways to pop back up, and there are always new players entering the VP world for him to prey on. Always some new magic waiting to be shared with others - as long as the price is right. So, "Be ever vigilant!" If oej does become a little bored, he can always go back to writing his columns for "Food Digest" and "Guns & Ammo".
I was thinking that if some of us decide to attend Rob's presentation in AC, we could make emoticon masks for us to wear so that he'll know who we are and where we're from. Maybe we could put the squeeze on WM for some nice black bomber jackets with the VP.com logo (Swe-e-e-t!) in case Rob goes postal and we end up on CNN. Free advertising, even if the only shots of the logo come as we're being zipped up in body bags.
But perhaps faygo is right and there will be some last minute problem that forces Rob to be a no-show.

OMG!
It is a good description of a dog chasing its tail. The gullibles just ate it up. Tell me why in the blue blazes I would travel all the way across the U.S. and be happy with a $15 win and a headache.
Boops, trip report is due!

Boops, trip report is due![/QUOTEOMG, too! Sounds like someone is planning on writing a book or two. Or..planning to conduct a seminar.I can't comprehend how it would be fun to take a 25 cent "profit" and toodle around looking for the next denomination machine, then backtrack, then change again. Personally, I like to sit down, get comfortable, see if the machine and I are in "the zone" for awhile. Also I wouldn't stop just because I had a windfall of 25cents. This would be like Eduardo hitting quads at the airport coming into LV and getting right back on the plane, wouldn't it?

I'm with you guys. Imagine planning a 3-day trip to Vegas for a few months, getting up $15 in the first hour, and then sitting in your room for the next few days because you didn't want to risk blowing it. Live a little. If you don't want to risk the $15 by continuing play, at least do something productive with it - snag a couple of deep-fried Twinkies. I'm a little anal myself about the money rules that I follow when I play here in CO (small stakes), but I relax my personal rules a bit for Vegas. After all, that's The Show!
Boops and faygo shouldn't be bad-mouthing Rob. He might not let them have a pic taken with him after the Taj Mahal presentation that they both will be attending ()
And as for Eduardo - ah, Eduardo! - the "King of Kings". I don't know anything about the place he was playing at, but if they had $2 play - or $5 - or $10 - well, he'd probably still be there confounding the critics. When I logged onto this site today, I thought the Bob Dancer pic looked a little different. When I gave it a closer look, I noticed that Bob had a few beads of sweat on his forehead. Has anyone else noticed that? Maybe he senses some new competition - a possible changing of the guard - as we all begin to switch to - "The Plaid System". ($49.95, $29.95 for Gold Club members)

Read Fa La La La La.... La la la la's column today if you need a good laugh. He zings our own Webman!
I think Rob's psych is such that when something happens such as being dumped by GT, he goes into a mental tailspin. This latest column on his site is the ranting of a crazy man. www.vptruth.com

I just read it, and thought it was pretty much the average Rob on a bad day. I don't read his column every week, so I may have missed some good ones. I'll give it an "8" on the Rant-O-Meter instead of the normal "5" or "6".
Rob's the expert at trying to pass off half-Truths as Truth. Example - in the column he acknowledges that he uses aliases on different sites. Nothing much wrong with that, I believe, as long as he's writing as himself. What he DOESN'T say is that on occasion he uses aliases to pose as a satisfied customer, and then writes testimonials to himself attempting to drum up business. There's a LOT wrong with that.
If I were to check out contractors for work on my home and found out that one had a history of falsifying references, would I hire that contractor? No. If I were to interview applicants for a job opening and found that one had falsified resume info or references, would I hire that applicant? No. If I were a newbie checking out different approaches to VP and found that the proponent of one approach had a history of inventing satisfied customers, would I be interested in using it? No. IMO it's not even necessary to get down and dirty examining specific flaws in Rob's approach to VP - just look at the bigger picture that I've just described. When I'm asked by friends or casino acquaintances about Rob, that's all I need to say. It's something that can't be undone. Any time new magic comes out and players begin asking about it - whether it's a month from now, six months, a year, whenever - I'll be bringing that up.
I remember on one occasion here his last posting under a "satisfied customer" alias was a plaintive, "I don't need to create satisfied customers!". Well, then, why do you do it? Actions speak louder than words.
As for his stuff about WM, I can only say this - when Rob was a legitimate member of the site, WM well and truly let him have his say before giving him The Big Boot. WM let him carry on for a much longer period than I would have, that's for sure.
As to being obsessed with Rob, we've gone long periods of time here without any Rob posts. Our round-Rob-bins almost always start at Rob's instigation - when he puts out misinformation or half-Truths that need to be straightened out. Correction: we usually wait for the True howlers. If at some point in the future he stops putting out misinformation on VP then we'll stop writing about him. I'm sure that we'll get going again when he puts out the new pattern deception stuff he promised in a recent e-letter.
He also mentioned in the column that he'll be going through his list of email addresses that his e-letters are sent to, removing those for people he knows are critics. That's because he knows he's passing off a lot of misinformation that won't be caught by many uninformed or new players, but that WILL be caught by knowledgeable ones, and commented on - his critics. I think nothing would make him happier than to have a VP world populated only by himself and fresh crops of newbies to be harvested now and again.

I think Rob's psych is such that when something happens such as being dumped by GT, he goes into a mental tailspin. This latest column on his site is the ranting of a crazy man. www.vptruth.com After reading it, I don't gather any new conclusions about him. I've never met or seen him and only go on things I've read so it's kinda biased but THAT many people posting similar or identical things about him can't be wrong. Trying to look at it from an unbiased point of view, I see a conceited, controlled maniac. You can have the greatest results from your personal"system" but you can't argue with numbers and math! By further mentioning and trying to do some Fa La La La La.... La la la la dinging of his own, shows his true jealousy for those who are actually knowledgeable about the VP game. Again, kudos to those who can actually back up winnings with numbers and formulas as opposed to talking about it with wreckless abandon.
