MAGA Terrorist Attack on Capitol

I just watched the mob smashing in the windows of a door that was barricaded with chairs, desks, and whatever the police could find. Someone busted out a side window and the "Air force veteran" was climbing through it. Officers on the other side warned her not to go through the window but she ignored them and she got shot. What else is there to say?

Was lethal force necessary against an unarmed woman? Why not just grab her when she was climbing in through the window?

the 6th post on this very thread, i stated, 'i do not condone the actions that took place in DC yesterday'. i await your apology.

should i go back and check after each illegal action of 'peaceful' protesters, and see if you offered the same admonishment to those dems/liberals/trump haters who were guilty of breaking the law.

Until you go further than saying you don't agree and condone what happened at the Capitol you get no apology from me. Why not go ahead and call out trump, trump jr., ted cruz, josh hawley, lin wood, mo brooks, fox news and the others that were in on the big lie that incited all this. Do you really believe that trump won by a landslide and it was stolen from him?

In regards to your post just above how do you know and how was the officer to know the women crawling through the window was unarmed?

Since it was the only shot fired (that I know of) my guess is it may not have been 100% intentional. I'm not sure if a statement has been given on that matter.

I'm also not sure what the use of force guidelines are for defending the chamber in the midst of a mob uprising. Officers had numerous guns drawn and ready. Do they have to see a weapon before firing or is a violent mob enough to justify pulling the trigger?

I guess investigators will make that determination.

For the third time do you believe that trump won by a landslide and that the election was stolen from him? This is at the very core of why the MAGA terrorists were incited by trump and motivated to carry out this cowardly act. Belief in the big lie. I am asking you do you believe it as well?

Was it necessary? I don't know, but won't second guess the officer. If they had let her in and grabbed her, what would the mob behind her have done. If one or two had climbed in and moved the desk blocking the door, then the mob that was chanting about hanging Pence would have been steps away from where some workers were sheltering in place. Shooting her ended the threat as the mob dispersed.

I display the flag every day. No one has ever called me a racist.
If you go to a rally trying to overthrow an election, you most certainly are not a patriot, no matter what flag you carry. If you break into the Capitol, assault the police and try to take hostages, you are scum. No matter what flag you carry.
If you want to say the people carrying American flags were less scummy than the ones carrying rebel battle flags, knock yourself out.
