Strange how you give a date for everything except when he canceled flights from Europe. It seems like you are saying it happened on 1/31 when it wasn't until March 14th. What was the original source of infection in NY- travelers from Europe.

In other words he did nothing.

- The trump virus task force is a joke. He only uses it to get face time for himself. He certainly did not emphasize adhering to its guidelines in reopining states.
- the closing of flights from china was only partial. Tens of thousands came and went freely between US and China anyway.
- the flight cancellations between US and Europe came way to late. Trump virus was already runnung amok in New York and New Jersey by then.
- by the time he declared trump virus a public health emergency trump virus had already spread across country and required a full shutdown to contain. If he would have allowed the shutdown and task force guidelines to operate as they were intended we would all be in a much better place right now.

I believe the first European travel ban (exempting the UK and Ireland) was Feburary 11th.
