I'm guessing you didn't read the article you linked. It talks about the high percentage of minorities being vaccinated in Arizona.
Strange how people can't accept simple math and try to twist data.
I did read the whole article. Wish you did as well. I was talking nationwide, not about AZ. You mentioned 10 States. As the article stated, “Overall, across these 40 states, the vaccination rate among White people was nearly twice as high as the rate for Hispanic people (25% vs. 13%), and 1.7 times as high as the rate for Black people (25% vs. 15%).” Arizona and Montana were exceptions as pointed out by CDC in March. A very good article put out by the Kaiser Family Foundation on this issue is https://www.kff.org/coronavirus-covid-1 ... ethnicity/
BTW, nobody is trying to twist data. I have no idea why the insinuation.
Hope everyone is doing what they can to stay healthy. I had Covid back in Jan/Feb and still got vaccinated. Was on the road last week when my phone rang and saw it was my doctors office. Uh oh, what's up? They just said I was overdue for bloodwork and a wellness visit. Results are in and all is good. BP is 120/80, passed the Medicare cognitive test. Lost 15 lbs last year and cut down on drinking a bit. Try to walk the golf course unless it is too hot. Gotta stay sharp if you want to play VP and not make mistakes with your money.
The last member of my immediate family (she is 16) has finally gotten her first vaccine and we are so happy that we are able to get together as a family. I do have some "post vaccine covid re entry anxiety" but I finally spent some time in Laughlin at the casino. After more than a year away I enjoyed the trip. Still yahoos with cigarettes, people with inappropriate masks, uncovered noses and restaurants trying to get back up to speed were obvious differences from the past.
Lived through polio, aids and now covid. I'm ecstatic that science is working so well and that this vaccine came in so quickly. I'm a nurse, now retired, but saw how awful it was at my hospital for so many months. It is so much better now. But, what the heck is going on in Michigan??? I have friends there and I'm worried about them, the numbers are awful.

My bro in law did this one last year too. He is a huge sci fi buff especially Star Wars. By the way FAA, my dad was in Billboard Magazine in 1950. Vocals on a hit record. Too bad no Royalties back then. Band leader got it all. Imagine surviving WW2 and then Covid got him. Happened to so many people including a famous 100 year old veteran. That was in the news recently.
I heard that nursing homes lost their legal immunity recently in some areas, so expect lawsuits to spike. Trying to sniff out some of the one and done vaccine for myself. In good health and prefer to minimize the inconvenience of it all.
