Just so you know, we have a locker room attendant on staff here as well. When you get bad cards on this site, it's his fault.

What about atmospheric pressure Otabill don't want anything to interfere with the PSI of the footballs.
I like your sense of humor edog. So let's just say that if the Patriots inflated the footballs in Boston and brought them to Phoenix/Glendale, they would deflate somewhat given the altitude of metro Phoenix is about 1000 feet higher than most of Boston. So hopefully, all balls will be inflated here as parts of Seattle has an altitude also about 1000 feet lower as well. LOL

If the NFL would just move to playing with those new run flat footballs we wouldn't be dealing with this issue.
I bet the Puppybowl won't have this drama in it this year either; those puppies play by the rules...

When you get bad cards on this site, it's his fault. Are you allowed to have a favorite football team and to actually say so on this site, Webman? Or would you violate some sort of impartiality bylaw???Seriously, who are you picking? And since this website is about GAmbling (sort of), IS ANYONE OUT THERE going to be in Vegas and actually put money of the game?????? Was anyone out there lucky (and smart) enough to latch on to the opening line that had Seattle favored by 2-1/2 to 3 points? Remember, this was a HUGE error by the casinos (meaning there are some people out there who bet big money getting the patriots PLUS almost a field goal!!!)

I have no dog in the field but being a hard core Red Sox fan I am rooting for New England. I could see the score being 27 to 16. Pats win!

I enjoyed seeing Michael Irvin's team win the Pro Bowl. It was basically a meaningless game but it was great to see his intensity and enthusiasm as his team scored at the end of the game. Brought back memories of his contributions back when Dallas last had a truly great team.

Go team go!I admire your spirit of "community" if nothing else......frankly I do not know HOW you tolerate ME, let alone Tedlark or even edog......you are either a Buddhist Monk who has mastered all 26 levels of mdeitation and is at harmony with EVERYONE and EVERYTHING in this world, or you must have access to some seriously strong Mary J. Wanna ..... I pledge, after today (January 27, 2015), I will indeed ignore any and all posts that seek to merely engage in hostility and backlash and anything that is NOT productive or relevant to the topic(s) at hand....unless of course someone actually STARTS a thread about hostility etc.Perhaps that is the answer Webman, start a section of the forum, cordoned off from the rest, whereby posters can go there for the EXPLICIT and expressed purpose of being HOSTILE and BULLYING and everything that puts people off in every other section of the forum......call it "the Padded room" forum!!! (I surrender any trademark rights to that term "PAdded ROOM forum" to Webman and Videopoker.com)

Brought back memories of his contributions back when Dallas last had a truly great team.I did not watch the probowl, but I agree with you about Dallas' last DYNASTY that you referred to, when they won three out of four super bowls (1992, 1993 and 1995) with jimmie Johnson coaching the first two wins and BArry Schweitzer coaching the third super bowl win......and in between the super bowls, in 1994 when they did not win the super bowl they did play in the NFC championship. They had a "Big Three" of Emmit Smith, Irvin and Troy Aikman. Sadly though, due to the way the Salry cap works, the HUGE contracts that Dallas had to give the Big Three after they won the third Super Bowl in 1995 prevented the Cowboys from being able to sign ENOUGH other very good players to put together anymore Super Bowl teams. It's kind of a curse......you win a Super Bowl or Two, and the stock value of almost ALL the players who play of such a team goes way up and you are faced with tough choices since each team is ONLY allowed to spend what the salary cap allows. But That Dallas team is acknowledged to be a true Dynasty.......so now everyone understands how I place my Patriots in the same category since the Patriots are the LAST team to win 3 out of four Super Bowls and two in a row (2001, 2003 and 2004) But what I claimed about the Patriots being REALLY exceptional holds water in light of the fact that they have put together such a LONG stretch of excellence EVEN with the Salary Cap constraints.Remember folks, the Salary cap is intended to ensure PARITY and give EVERY team a chance in the long run to possibly win a super bowl, except clearly some teams are truly better than others at managing salary cap(s) and paying the right price for talent!Baseball's Luxury Tax, in my opinion, is a better way to go about trying to creat some level of "parity".......

I like the idea of a padded room forum. The trouble is, those who maybe should be posting there may not realize they should be there. I am not naming any names. In fact from time to time I probably should be in there myself. My degree in Psych will only carry me so far in this reasoning but I think it holds some water. Finally, as to football, I predict the game will be close and not a blowout. I give an edge to the Pats, but once you are up to this level, borrowing from Phil again, anything can and will happen.
