The Trump Crime Family Convention
The republican party has announced its ten key speakers for this week's trump show, and fully half of them are Trump family members. How utterly pathetic. Four years in office and he can't get any prominent republicans to stand up for him.

That's quite an inspiring turnaround story. She wasn't actually present during the murder but clearly committed terrible crimes and was found guilty of them. After serving so many years, she turned her life around and became a minister.
I think that's about the best outcome we could hope for, for teens who have lived a life of crime.
Is Trump having her on too?

I heard that Mr. Thomas Vigliarolo may be speaking at the RNC.
Oh wait: victims, especially those who have been MURDERED, have no rights as they have been snatched away from them by murderous thugs who later went on to "turn their lives around."

eduardo doesn't give a damn about victims. he only cares about himself or his causes.
didn't care about the guy who's head was used for a soccer ball in portland, while helpless in the street. doesn't care about a guy who was tortured, for 15 days. that's fifteen days/nights, every moment in pain or fear, but according to eduardo, 'inspiring turn around story', for the animal that did it.
'the best outcome we could hope for', far from it. the criminal should have begged for forgiveness, kept her story to herself and not shown up, as some kind of heroine to DNC, BLM. this kind of crap only gives cover to all the criminal behavior taking place on the street right now, with no justification.

Some people are able to find room to both mourn victims and celebrate changed lives, even those who have done harm. I won't apologize for that. It was a tragedy. She was a terrible sinner. I find hope in redemption and do not condemn her to a life in the shadows on account of her past. She not only served many years for her crimes, but also made a personal change that many do not. Indeed, I would say she is better off now than a man sitting in the highest seat who sees forgiveness and humility as weakness.
I don't know much about the victim in this case, but I don't need to in order to know it was a terrible crime that should never have happened.

Some folks practice a strange form of Christianity. One where forgiveness and compassion is stuff you talked about as a kid, but not something very central to their lives. No wonder they tend to operate out of fear.
They choose to be keyboard kommandos. Pity them.

You hit the nail on the head BIll. Jesus taught forgiveness and compassion. I see no evidence from these comments. I have read her story. It is quite compelling. She went through torture as a child so it is not hard to see how she ended up doing what she did.
She also worked hard to improve herself and make the changes in her life that those early abuses had caused. Kudos to her. She acknowledged her wrongs and worked to be a different person.
Somehow, I think Jesus would forgive her and be happy in the lessons learned.
Apparently, Trump supporters only find certain teachings of Christianity useful only when they fit their narrative. It's hypocrisy and that is the core of their existence.

On this subject, I would simply ask people to reflect on the life and words of Paul.
If that doesn't cause you to pause, question your own words, possibly even apologize for them... repeat the above advice.
No... she is no Apostle Paul. He scarcely thought himself worthy of that title either, given his past. But I do wonder what some here would say to God, for choosing such a man to speak on his behalf.
