Any blurred or double vision after long casino ses

Me neither! Ha! Okay, it's when driving home from a long casino session that I experience a tad of blurred vision. It seems to leave after a half hour or so. No double cars or telephone poles. Just blurred license plates, car logos, driving lanes and speed limit signs. It's probably safe to be on the road and not life threatening! I am not crazy about the obvious that comes to mind to remedy this situation. My husband would be the first to recommend staying away from casinos! Just wondered if others are experiencing this or is it yet another of my special traits?

No blurred vision with me but I sure have some aches and pains, especially in my back and neck..Another thought! DRY eyes...I always take some Thera-Tears with me and use them often..If that is the problem the blurred vision should go right away...

I never had any vision problems til I began to use a computer in the mid 80's.  I soon noticed my eyes wouldn't focus quickly when I looked from computer screen to some point further away.  I experience the same thing looking at a vp machine.  Distance sight is very blurry.
 
I'm convinced that our kids/grandkids will encounter this issue because of all the close-up texting and hand-held gaming they do, although my eye doctor says it won't.  Nonetheless, I've asked my stock broker to be on the lookout for the next best technology for corrective vision. 
 
After a few hours at the machines, eyes are dry, vision is blurry, shoulders, back and neck ache and fingers cramp.  All in a day's work . . .

Seriously, smoke-filled casinos, staring at a VP screen - why wouldn't you have blurry vision?
 
I echo the dry eye tip. I carry Refresh Plus, which are little single-use vials of eye drops. Twist off top, drops in eyes, throw away.

Marie, That has happen to me at casino i have Type One diabetes i always ask waitress for a diet coke well i am kinda thin and one time waitress gave regular coke and i drank it not knowing for over half hour my vision was blurd had go up screen real close to see move head around differnet direction to see screen i was like what the f going on then i figured out later on waitress gave me regular coke, with out my insulin cuase me alot damage to my eyes and all my organs, so now when waitress gets me diet soda i say to her are sure its diet i have diabetes and dont want die because you want your dollar tip, they look at like wow, but i do get honest answer yes it is diet coke. Marie i hope you dont have diabetes and probally dont but you never know? Sam

The comedy of billy and faygo is a tough act to follow, with a serious note! Thanks for your input and that of Kjohn, buff and sam. The producers of Thera-Tears and Refresh-Plus also thank you immensely for the free advertising. I had never heard of them and will check them out soon.sam, you may have helped countless peeps by sharing your experience! I also drink only diet soda and limit that to twice a day, for a few other reasons. Water is best for all of us! It's a relief to realize I am not alone with this situation, here, and also, per helpful private messages. TYVM! forum to the rescue once again!It has been well publicized that it's important to take frequent breaks when 'putering, riding in cars and on planes, Specifically, to keep the circulation flowing to avoid blood clots and death. This same can apply to playing VP in casinos for long hours. Yet, it's really hard to leave a user friendly VP machine w a magnetic type grip!
