Televangelist's "Prosperity Gospels"

Have any of you acquainted yourselves with the myriad of Televangelists (Rod Parsley, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Creflo Dollar etc etc et al) who consistently and CONSTANTLY preach week after week about how....somehow.....if you "sow" a "Seed"  of X amount of dollars to their Ministry, you will be quickly "Blessed" with a windfall of 10X, or 50X  or 100X  or more....depending of course on just HOW big of a "Seed" you sow to them??This is the ridiculous and pathetic False doctrine (actually blasphemous and sacrilegious) known as "Prosperity Gospel"......It just does not work that way people.....you DO NOT get something for nothing.   You ABSOLUTELY do NOT get rich or receive ANYTHING by Giving money to phony, arrogant, dishonest crooked television preachers (many of whom have actually been investigated numerous times by state and federal authorities, as well as SUED outright over their ridiculous hurtful and false claims;  and ALL of whom live lavish, absurd lifestyles off of the money these so-called congregation members donate, all in complete contradiction to the teachings and style of Jesus Christ himself.)Similarly, doing good deeds, does NOT yield success in casinos.....this is baseless, tactless, bunk.   In the interest of the welfare of any new, or naive forum readers who may be visiting for the first time, may be YOUNG and inexperienced, may be of limited financial means and desperate for some sort of success in the casino.......I do not want to see you hurt or disappointed nor lose money you can't afford to lose.There are indisputable self evident OBVIOUS truths to life and casino gambling.....first, the HOUSE always has the edge as far as the GAME itself goes in Video poker.....comps and promos and other things can temporarily close that edge gap, but by and large even "good games like 9/6 JOB still give the edge to the casino.    When you play HIGH VAriance GAMES, especially multiline high variance games, the potential downside increases.     You will NOT ....repeat, NOT bridge that gap, negate the house edge, just by going out and doing good deeds.I strongly encourage you to, indeed, GO OUT and do ALL THE GOOD DEEDS you can find it in your heart to perform.   Seriously, the world will be a better place....but do not do so with the expectation that you are subsequently going to be rewarded with success in the casinos.   Does not work that way, and if that is your motivation then it really is not sincere and selfless, is it???I'm Da Burglar and I'm here to help......always remember, no matter what you tell other people, no matter what "Face" you show to the world, deep inside YOU yourself will KNOW....you'll ALWAYS know.    You and God almighty that is.....

I'm already there.Agreed that with great wealth and power comes responsibility and obligation.....this is actual true whether or not a person is a Christian, or a Humanist/secularist.    The survival and benefit of SOCIETY at large is jeopardized when you have what is currently taking place in the USA, the tremendous concentration of wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer individuals and institutions.   It's a death sentence, and has brought down numerous past great civilizations/empires/societies.....Rome, Ottomans, British and now the USA.  Many people wrongly spew an erroneous version of the following biblical text/quote  "Money is the root of all evil"  1Timothy 6:10The actual scripture is "The LOVE of MONEY is the root of much evil...."    Big difference.....The televangelists and this message of prosperity, which encompasses and occupies almost ALL their broadcasts these days, with NOTHING being said about the real, important topics and messages of the Hebrew/Christian Bible.    They are the exact embodiment of what Jesus foretold would happen in the days and years following his death, up to our current day and age, specifically that MANY people would claim to be representatives of Jesus as preachers, but are in fact Wolves in sheep's clothing.   When they preach this harmful teaching about "getting rich via the Holy spirit" and that God and his Son Jesus Christ want you to be FINANCIALLY independent and wealthy, its blasphemously sacrilegious.....Joel Osteen can go pound sand.   it is WRONG WRONG WRONG......wrong conceptually, wrong in actual practice (i.e. it DOES NOT work at all, not in the least, and certainly not like these false prophets maintain) and most important, it is WRONG morally.
