You are correct. While vultures have a big edge for one hand at a time, they do not always win. And she said she ALWAYS wins
Why is Ultimate X so popular?

I'll keep that in mind, I'm not though, I'm a couple hours north. Which means Toledo is even further unfortunately.Jstark wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:17 pmAssuming you're near the Detroit area based on previous post. Toledo has one 5☆ machine that has single hand UX on it.applepear86 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:25 amI like single hand UX sometimes, but nowhere in my state offers it. I wish they didn't program them to force you to play exactly 3, 5 or 10 hands. I loathe multihand UX
UX is a big drain in my unpopular opinion. It will suck money out of you to compensate for extremely rare events, while at the same time collecting it's 2% or more mathematical advantage. That royal that you're hoping will hand after a full house or flush, odds of that happening are about 1 in 2 million on a per hand basis. And you're still paying the house edge mathematically speaking all within those hands until you achieve these lightning strike events that are built into the game's math. Also, If your VP wins are spread out instead of back-to-back, you will be extinguished quickly!
That said, if you like UX, good for you, I hope your good results continue!![]()

I guess we'd have to define "always." On a hand for hand basis, I agree. On a daily basis, it's difficult to have a losing day. Weekly, I'll go out on a limb and say it's quite impossible to lose strictly playing that way.
Anyway though, I doubt that person was a vulturer anyway.

Although Toledo does have decent higher paying games, definitely not worth the while of an overnight trip.Jstark wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 10:17 amI guess we'd have to define "always." Every hand is ones personal decision. Need to remember that a low 2 pairs can end up as a full house with 12 x next hand. Many people just hold a pair of picture cards which rarely results in a full house. It more of a think8ng game than other poker games.

Thanks Bob I had my first loss....lol. All I know about playing bonus streak or any other multiplier game is that you don’t play like you would a regular poker. You’re always looking ahead. You are choosing cards that will hopefully give you more multipliers. For example if I’m playing deuces wild and I have three of a kind Or cards that would give me a flush I am going to choose the cards that give me a flush. I have also noticed in playing that usually you will get a good hand within the first five deals and of course that’s where you get your multipliers. When it runs out I go to another game. I have tried playing just ultimate X but it seems like I have more luck playing bonus streak.

Or just look for leftovers. This way you play standard strategy and only have to bet 5 credits per line.

In my experience looking for multipliers on UX Bonus Streak is a generally a waste of time now. I rarely find a playable scenario, most people play the board down to near nothing. I wonder if this new Ultimate X Gold will be the same way.Jstark wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:19 pmAlthough more difficult, UX Bonus Streak is still vultureable.BobDancer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 2:59 pmThen you are a rare bird indeed.
Bonus Streak is exceptionally difficult to play well, with no strategies published, and pay schedules on this game generally suck in most places. Plus, even on easy games with well-defined strategies, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Basically nobody wins all the time. If you can fade all those disadvantages and still always come out ahead, you're one in at least 10 billion, because nobody else on the planet can honestly say that.
But this was my first hand of UX Bonus Streak in the casino 4 years ago. Most I ever won on that game in those 4 years. Gained another $30 on the hands afterward before quitting.

I agree. BS UX is likely the last game I'll look through.
Just got the email about the UX Gold. But I'll have to wait until they release it to everyone to play in a few months as I'm not a gold or pro member.
