That's the short pay version of the 35/8/5 BP.pokerpokerpoker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 9:14 pmA while ago I was perusing paytables at the local with Vman96, and we came across a $1, $2, $5 machine with 8/5 Bonus. It is on a small bank of machines with more liberal slot club benefits, compared to the other "better"machines. I was about to sit down and bang away when he said something like "whoa, all quads pay 150". Point taken.
A month or so later I had a hankering for some $2 bonus, checked the paytables, 8/5. Forgetting all about the 150 quads, when I got aces and got $300 instead of $800 I was pissed (and feeling foolish) for not checking the whole paytable.l

I love 35/8/5 BP. I wish Hollywood STL wouldn't have yanked it.Jstark wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 10:27 pmThat's the short pay version of the 35/8/5 BP.pokerpokerpoker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 9:14 pmA while ago I was perusing paytables at the local with Vman96, and we came across a $1, $2, $5 machine with 8/5 Bonus. I did much the same thing at Harrahs Laughlin a couple of months ago. Having found that my two favourite plays there had been obliterated, I thought I would take solace in some $1 8/5 bonus poker. It wasn't until my first quad (one of the normally 200 ones) that I realized what was going on. And, of course, it wasn't the 175 for a quad version, but the 150. As others have emphasized, you must check the entire pay schedule each time you sit down to play.pokerpokerpoker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 9:14 pmA month or so later I had a hankering for some $2 bonus, checked the paytables, 8/5......
When I reported the downgrade to vpFREE2, I suggested that they call the game Bogus Bonus Poker, but they wouldn't, or couldn't, do that.
And, the really bad news is that this 98.48% game is now about the best one there in my price range.
