They do at Mohegan where I am anyways, forgot what the payout was on one of the machines but there was a bank of machines I always went to that were my little secret cause the pay out on a couple of them was higher than all the rest. It lasted a couple years there from when I known about them and the last time I was there they were all tightened up like the rest. Probably shows up in the numbers eventually and then they gotta sniff out the machine that's letting people win just a little too much. I was so upset, it was my favorite machine there.

Rampart in Summerlin (in far west LV for those not familiar with the LV layout) for the longest had 9/7 TDB and 8/5 Super Aces on all of their 10 play machines in 5 cent, 10 cent, 25 cent, 50 cent and $1 denominations until Gaughan Jr came onboard as GM. Shortly after, those all became 9/6 and 7/5 respectfully. Even though Gaughan Jr is no longer the GM there, the lower paytables remain in place. They still have 8/5 BP, 9/6 DDB, and 9/7/5 DB on those 10 plays. They know what they are doing. Probably more than we would like to know...
